I love that Durant went to GS. Not for basketball reasons, but just because it's always good to see someone try to improve their situation. He wants to win, so he went after the best opportunity to win he could get. Good for him.

There are always plenty of people who have already decided where people belong. You know who you are. You hate it when good players go to good teams, you hate it when good players go to mediocre teams, you hate it when your family members go to college, you hate it when your co-workers get promotions into management. Crabs in a barrel.

Good for Durant.

LMAO
That would be almost as fun as when they rolled out a lineup of Steve Nash, Michael Finley, Cedric Ceballos, AC Green and Hot Rod Williams.

Give me a break. It's nothing like that. Why don't all the good players play on the same team? They can win it all every year? And everybody could just stop watching.

Steven A. Smith is hilarious. Also a god damn hypocrite. Remember when he left ESPN for a while to do his own thing. Then went back to ESPN? Why? Because they have a better team. They are the best game in Sports Media and he wanted to work for the best. He should shut his pie hole.
Go Suns!

The Knicks signed some euro guy I've never heard of, INF probably loves it.

Durant to GS? As a basketball fan I hate this. If I was a GS fan I would love this.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

Yep, and that's a problem for the league. One fan base is happy. Every other one is not.

I don't think that is true at all. The casual NBA fan loves dynasties. They drive ratings. I'd say 75% of overall NBA fans love it. The league is ecstatic.

Nuggets have reportedly offered D Wade 2yrs/50mil. I don't see how this makes much sense with Gary Harris, Jamal Murray and Mudiay in that backcourt, but I'm rooting for it. Think it will start the demise of Miami....
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

David West signs with GSW on a 1 year contract. He's REALLY chasing a ring.

Can't blame him.

losing wade is less damaging than losing deng, joe johnson and tyler johnson (he's now the starting SG for brooklyn)

I have no problem with Durant to GSW. The players on that team are classy, the Warriors lost for a LOOOOOOOOONG time before their Superteam, and they play a beautiful brand of basketball. Love the Warriors. I hope they win three straight.

I couldn't help but notice Durant not getting his touches every time I watched an OKC game. If Durant got hot, Russell would think he was hot, and dive to the rim or jack it. In the end, OKC relied on a whole lot of iso ball, and Durant's shots were harder as a result. Iso ball will get you a lot of contested mid-range jumpers. It's just bad basketball.

Durant now has a chance to be a great player on a great team. I think it's a great opportunity for him. I'm glad he's no longer orbiting the black hole in OKC.

Speaking of that black hole... if he were my superstar player, I would put him next to an elite big. IMO, Cousins and Westbrook would be a monster pairing.

Disagree. Not only is Dwayne Wade, despite declining noticeably, better then all those guys right now, but he also helps lure other talent there.
