So far, Bender is playing much better this second half...but it's still early.

He's the most ready to play now..but thats expected. Chriss has no offensive moves whatsoever. I like the hustle and obviously athleticsim, but the skills and Bball IQ just isn't there yet. He's more active then I thought which I like. But that behind the back move he keeps trying in traffic is just brutal.

Its all about physicality and speed with Bender. Isiah made a nice point (maybe his only) It takes Euro bigs a little longer. I am a little concerned that his passing and ball handing, which was suppose to be a strong point of his, has looked so bad. He has a nice stroke and I still like his agility on D I just think he underestimates how quick guards are at this level.

They both gamble way to often on D. For Bender I think its just not realizing the speed, for Chriss I just don't think he knows how to play quite yet. We're going to have to be patient for sure. Atleast Bender is trying to post up more.

Ulis floor game is very good. He's better when he has scorers on the court unlike tonight.

He actually was a pretty good drafter in NY. It' s just he says some really stupid things sometimes.

He's also "mentoring" Jaylen Brown for those of you who want to know...

Perfect example there about Chriss. There was a play called, but it wasn't there and the Miami player beat Ulis to the spot, Chriss just threw it anyway.

We should run pick and rolls with Ulis and Chriss/Bender. We don't run too many and most of them have Williams as the roll guy.

Would probably have better results than what we have been doing.

The offense without Booker has not been good.

We definitely need to get Bender and Chriss into the offensive flow.

Every offensive set should be a p&r with either Bender or Chriss as far as I'm concerned. They have Bender just standing on the wing setting an occasional screen. Silly.

I still enjoyed this game despite the low score and the loss. Ulis is a real treat. At this point I'm mostly watching for him, plus any little flashes out of Bender and/or Chriss.

Isiah Thomas couldn't stop gushing about Ulis. Near the end of the game Ulis started looking for his own offense and scored very well. He might need to assert himself more with this group minus Booker.

Ulis with a great game. Williams had some nice moves in the post.

Bender and Chriss both had bad games on offense. I worry about Chriss' up and down rebounding numbers. He did have a couple of nice plays, cutting to the basket or loking for the offensive board. I do think Bender was pretty good on D. His length on the perimeter really makes it tough to get the ball to his guy. He can deny the incoming pass and stay in front of his man at the same time.

Alan Williams is consistently good here. Is it possible that he could end up actually developing into a regular rotation player

Hopefully, he can take over Leuer's role this year, a low profile big, capable to fill in for injured players, and compete for minutes from the bench.

As mentioned elsewhere, Williams reminds me a bit of Chuck Hayes.
Not particularly tall, but strong and brutish with a great work rate and good instinct for the game.
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Kind of reminds me of Anthony Mason.

Williams can't pass, dribble or shoot like this guy.

Mason was a total anomaly. A point guard in an NFL lineman's body.
For a season, the Knicks experimented running the offense through Mace ... and that was when they had Ewing.
