I try to keep up on the news but when I come and see 60 pages just on this thread it is a little intimidating. I got our draft picks and we picked up Dudley and Barbosa again. Anything else I missed? I see we did well in Summer League but, I never put a whole lot of stock in Ws or Ls in the summer.
We are reportedly letting Price go somewhere else, and we extended our deadline to guarantee Jenkins to September 1st.
.net is excited about Ulis and Williams roles off the bench next year, and cautiously hopeful that Bender and Chriss can become NBA players.
IIRC, the rest is just us bitching to each other about how all the things we could do better than Suns management.

That's about it, as far as transactions go. We also added Ty Corbin to the coaching staff.

Thanks for posting this. It's easy to see why Leandro is a fan favorite. How about that new do and fancy glasses. He's come a long way. I'm sure the championship doesn't hurt his confidence.
Just watched it, and I absolutely agree. LB has come a long way from the goofy "little brother" to a very confident man. He seems to still have that sense of humor and is now more comfortable in himself.
I looked it up, and he has more playoff games than anyone else on the roster. 8 seasons, 119 games, and over 2000 minutes. Chandler has 75 games, and Dudley has 29, so LB has been in more playoff games than our two other vets combined.
Thanks, Furlanfufi.

Scuttlebutt is that Suns offered Price a one-year deal, but that he's agreed to a two-year deal with another team.
While the Suns management likes him, they have a glut at both guard positions.
And with Ulis' showing in the summer league, minutes are going to be hard to come buy for any second-tier reserves ...

No need to thank me. Just contributing a little bit while Carey take a deserved rest!
Barbosa really has come a long way. It's funny how the end of run and gun era coincided with his mother death.
He had to overcome a lot of inconsistent play and serious injuries to finally find some stability on GSW.
He should have played more in the finals, when he was scoring and defending very efficiently.
I hope he ends his nba career in Phoenix.
Thanks guys. Been catching bits and pieces of other teams summer league games on tv.
It's hard not to like LB. Him and Dudley were always a fan favorites too. Dudley has put on a few pounds. They'll probably give away a house for every dunk he makes this year. Those two will add leadership and a positive locker room presence which was missing last year.
I am neutral on Watson at this point. Didn't like him at first. Was brought in to replace Hornecek under the guise of assistant coach IMO and that rubbed me the wrong way. Not his fault I guess. Have seen nothing but positive things from him so far. Most Suns coaches don't last more than 2-3 years it seems. The counter has started.
Overall I feel a little more positive about this season than last. I think it will be an improvement of 10-15 games if we stay relatively healthy. Bledsoe in particular. I think the vibe will be much better without any Morris's around. I don't count on any help from the rookies. I like to think of them as icing. It's not like we are ready to dethrone Cleveland or GS with Durant anytime soon anyway.
In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.

They should all get generous amounts of playing time in the D-League.

I don't disagree about Bender and Chriss (maybe especially Bender), but then who plays PF? More Len? Or would you send Bender and Chriss one at a time to the D League and have the other guy playing NBA games?

If we get into a stretch where they're not playing a few games in a row, I could see some DLeague action just to get them some run. Otherwise, I think having them around the team and working each day is probably better for them.

I expect Tucker, Dudley and Warren will all see minutes at PF. And Booker will see minutes at SF. That's the way we roll.

Not his fault in any way. He even asked Hornacek for permission to put his hat in the ring for interim coach after Hornacek was fired.
"It's gonna be a constant journey, constantly getting better," Watson said. "But we never get discouraged. That's a part of the 'LOVE' in the Krebs cycle..."

Watson's Krebs cycle doesn't make much sense to me. A lot of words and arrows that don't seem to mean much. I hope it makes more sense to the players than it does to me.
