I knew our tank was in trouble when Len was unable to play.
I think we should sit both Chandler and Williams while not allowing Chriss to play the 5. Play Len 48 minutes and I am sure the tank will get back on track.
Great game for Booker - again!
What was the reason to get rid of Monty again? Oh yeah, that guy we drafted rather than Doncic.
Pretty amazing that Booker has had two buzzer beaters in his sophomore campaign. Can you imagine this group in a few years? Even the Dallas broadcasters were fantasizing about it.
As much as I want to see us get a great draft pick. I can't be mad at how this game turned out. It's great to see Devin Booker succeed like he did down the stretch and at the buzzer. Did he score on 5 straight possessions? When he's in rhythm, he just doesn't miss.
It's been a while since the Suns have had a player like Booker. The arrogant but can back it up Kobe-esque player. I don't really know how to react to it. I kind of.. like it? Steve Nash was unassuming, Amare was all bluster and nonsense, and Marion... well, you could rarely ever understand what Marion was going on about. We've not had a Booker since Charles Barkley. Not that he is as good as Chalres but that persona of saying "I'm going to take your lunch money" then doing it.

You don't need the most ping pong balls, just the first.
"Slipping" from 3 to 5 means our chances of a top 3 pick drop from 46.9% to 29.2%, so about a 17.7% chance that it makes a difference.

Off topic: I'm watching a mid-major conf championship game on ESPNU, its kind of background noise to me. The play by play guy is so bad. Some of the stuff he says just makes no sense like the team that is up two playing defense he claims they should consider fouling so they get the last shot...
Long story short....The commentator is none other then "former NBA general manager Lance Blanks!" Thats how they introduce him too....haha. Don't know how long he's been doing this but he's pretty terrible.
What has he been good at?
Getting jobs.

For what it's worth, I love that we are winning the right way. Building the right culture of winning is far more important than more ping pong balls. You can get the #1 pick year in and year out, and if you aren't a winning team it won't mean a thing.
I was frustrated earlier in the year when we were winning a few games with mediocre vets giving half effort and not sharing the ball. Winning a few now with undrafted players giving it everything they've got and sharing the ball is just fine with me.

Luckily, Orlando and Philly both have two games left against Brooklyn and neither team seems to be obviously tanking. They're still playing hard and trying to win. I don't think there is any chance we catch LA again though.
Yeah, it is a LOT. Can't blame the players for playing to win. And I can't blame management anymore because they really are playing the young guys. Oh well, it is what it is.

If things trend the same way next season we should have a shot at sneaking into that 8th spot. That would entail McDo not bungling the offseason, which is a lot to ask for.

I like this team, too. But we aren't going +2o wins next year unless we bring in a hall of fame player. fingers crossed!

There is absolutely no way we will be a playoff team next year. If we are lucky we will be a frisky near-playoff team that is a little under .500 but shows a lot of promise. Look at the Timberwolves this season as an example. Way, WAY more young talent than we have, and a great coach, but they just aren't ready yet. They'll get there in time (and so will we).
