This I disagree with. We have been so devoid of this position for so long that I am enjoying the youth and potential here. I also don't see it as a big problem if these guys are flexible in their positions which I believe all of them to be. Having a lot of length and skill in your front court is a great problem to have. I also believe all of these guys bring something different to the table.
If you really think about our future roster, we either have 2 or 3 guards, depending on how you consider Bledsoe, 2 wings, and 2 or 3 bigs, depending on what happens with Len/Williams. Wing is our weakest spot with Jones Jr our only backup, but it's not like we have an excess anywhere. Isaac has some potential to play the 3 as well, so I'm not worried in the least about adding him.

If we do draft Isaac, the minute distribution might get tricky, but we can always cut Chandler and Dudley's minutes.

Speaking of the article, according to it, we are not taking Isaac.

Didn't we just talk about passing on Jordan because you have Drexler?

I like Isaac, but I'm hoping we can move Len for something and Let Isaac / Chriss take Len's minutes.

If that's the case, take Fox and move Bledsoe and Knight. I think Fox is the bigger talent than Isaac.

I wish I could get there with you on Fox. It doesn't bother you that he can't shoot? What do you do with him when Booker has the ball?

He can shoot and will get better. His form is fine and he's got a better touch than Wall.

What do I do when Booker has the ball? Same thing Wall does when Beal has the ball?

Wall shot 32.5% from college 3pt range and averaged 6.5 assists.
Fox shot 25.5% from college 3pt range and averaged 4.5 assists.

Fox has a long way to go to be a star, IMHO. I see his ceiling as being Tony Parker or or Sam Cassell. Those guys were good players and a lot better than Bled. But that's where I think his ceiling is, and his floor is... I'm not sure. He'll be a good defender and a good decision maker in the pick and role. Maybe a good mid-range shooter. But it will be very easy to double off him if he doesn't improve his shot a lot.

Hell, maybe he's KJ with some defense. And maybe I just talked myself into liking him.

I still thought regular protocol would be to keep this under wraps til Thursday but hey

Trade between Philly and Boston will be finalized on Monday, per source. Sides have agreed. Sixers will get first pick and take Fultz.

Do we know whether Boston is definitely taking Jackson?

Fox's ceiling is John Wall with smoother offense. His floor is probably Elfrid Payton. I just don't think Bledsoe is a winning lead guard in today's game. I like him, and like the idea of him but I don't think he has it.

Do we know whether the Lakers are definitely taking Ball? If they go Jackson, do the Cs take Ball?

So apparently philly gave up #3, the unprotected 2018 laker pick and the unprotected 2019 kings pick to move up to #1. That is a ton. But a Fultz/Simmons/Embiid core is worth it. Boston has to do something with their picks right? They have 3 unprotected picks in the next two years coming from terrible teams that will almost surely be top 10 and could easily be top 3. Do you trade them in for Butler? Or just sign a Hayward/Griffin and use the picks to build a team for the future while winning now with IT/Griffin/Horford?

Sources: For top pick, Sixers planning to send Celtics '17 No. 3 overall pick, '18 FRP (via LA) and '19 FRP (via Kings) - w/ protections.

Celtics getting more great future picks again. I still wonder if they use any in a trade, I don't think Jackson is gonna make it to us because I am assuming the Celtics will take a forward now

Wait, so does that say the kings pick has protections?

I guess it's not as great a get now seeing the protections but still a good position to be in

The 2018 Lakers pick to BOS has protections on top and bottom that could keep it in Philly, and if so, then 2019 Kings' pick goes to Boston.

Elfrid Payton is a bum, I think Fox's floor is Dennis Schroder. Unless we move up for Ball, we won't get him, I think the C's take Jackson (even tho they have Brown/Crowder and want Hayward.) and I think we grab Tatum.

I don't get why Philly is giving up *three* 1st-round picks, all of which will likely be high, for just one in Fultz. Why not just pick Fox/whomever at #3 and keep the other two picks to further expand their roster? This trade makes no sense to me. Why does everybody make dumb lopsided trades with Boston? Urgggh.

Also, this makes it a mortal lock that Fultz will suffer a season-ending injury in October.
