I'm right there with you man. It's been a painful last 10 years and I can't stand Mike Tannebaum.
Luckily my hockey team, Penguins, has been steadily contending every year, so theirs that.

“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

Wow, I don't see that at all. He does have the strength or touch to be effective in the post at the pro level, he doesn't have good scoring instincts, he settles too much for his floater which isn't that good to begin with, his handles are nearly useless in the halfcourt, he doesn't have a jumper, and he seems to have motor issues.Sunsfan4life wrote: I like Simmons talent alot. It's there. It's there to be the #1 guy on a contending team.
My early feeling is that his ceiling is Lamar Odom.

I think that's about right. But I also think this draft is going to have a lot of busts. Picking the gems will be a challenge.INFORMER wrote:Wow, I don't see that at all. Don't get me wrong, I have serious questions about the kid but it has more to do with between the ears and desire.INFORMER wrote:Wow, I don't see that at all. I like the Odom comparison both in style of play and body type, but I think he has a higher ceiling then him and is ahead of Lamar was when he was a Freshman in college at URI. Hopefully he has his head screwed on a bit more than Lamar did who always seem to put basketball in the backseat.
I'll tell you what scares me about Simmons and it has nothing to do with his skills, it's his lack of competitiveness in crucial games while LSU was fighting for a tourney bid. That is the biggest red flag to me. That reeks of Michael Beasley-ish stuff. That's why I may take Ingram over him.

Beasley was lazy and easily distracted. Is that a problem with Simmos or is it just that he is not an alpha?
Re: Suns fans 2016 Suns Report Cards
Simmons will be a better Boris Diaw. He will frustrate fans and coaches because they will see so much more potential, but he will want to be part of the flow of the team.
