I wish Ryan would realize that. Ugh.
Amen

I think Wooden is in love with the guy. They may have taken showers together in Utah.

I'm fine with losing out on Blake. Would have been interesting to give him a shot here, but I would not want him at that contract he just signed with LAC. I know we weren't able to offer him 5 years, but that is such a ton of money per year. Let him stay in LA for his career and we'll let our promising young bigs grow and learn.

I don't know what to think about the Millsap rumor. Maybe I'll start another thread about that so we can give that its own conversation. Millsap is a very nice player for a team trying to contend, but at his age I'm not sure he makes a ton of sense here. I just worry that he would get in the way of Chriss and Bender. And he seems to be on the downside as far as his age and production goes, while Blake was still closer to his prime.

I wanted Blake Griffin bad but I can't blame him for taking the extra cash the Clippers had to offer. He would've helped the Suns make the playoffs.

I'm with you, but maybe this helps in the long run. I would have loved seeing them go out and make the playoffs. Now, even though they were better than a 24 win team, and will be better this year, they are still going to struggle mightily with the West getting better. Dallas, Denver, Sacromento, Minn, and Portland will all be improved along with others in the west. Only Clippers got worse, and they will still be much better than the Suns.

It will be interesting to see if LAC make the playoffs this year. I predict they wont. I'll be interested to check back in on this thread at the end of the season and see who still thinks Blake to the Suns would have been good.

My guess is he'll have a really strong season with little other scoring left on the roster. So probably we'll wish we had nabbed him.
