I'll be happy with 2-3 on this road trip, especially if the team keeps playing hard and for each other.

Can you imagine saying that before the last two games? We would have thought you were crazy.

Honestly, now I am actually looking forward to watch Suns basketball. This is a feeling I had almost forgotten. Tanking/losing is so hard (but needed).

Agreed. I don't mind the losing, but I couldn't stand the fact that we a) were boring and b) didn't seem to try or have a plan.

Somehow he manages to get called for a travel in a montage of his defensive highlights.

LOL. Yeah, that made me chuckle. That's such a 2017 Dragan Bender thing to do.

Can't wait for 2018 Dragan Bender! I am sure that's the year where we get a highlight package with no duds!

Aww, but Dudley makes everything a little better.

Ugh. You got a groan out of me and I'm not happy about it. 5/10.

LOL TRUE.

To be fair, the refs are calling a ton of travels on the whole league this season.

A good article by Kellan Olson on Booker's improving D:

http://arizonasports.com/story/1290518/ ... se-watson/
Under Jay Triano, Suns’ Devin Booker showing relentless effort defensively

The Phoenix Suns are working hard on defense under interim coach Jay Triano, and it’s paying off in those two games.

The noticeable difference in defensive intensity is one of the many stark contrasts the team has shown on the court compared to their play for former head coach Earl Watson.

In two games, Triano has a couple of basic concepts to build upon for future growth: If you play hard and well, you are staying in the game; and if you don’t, someone else will.

The most evident example of this was in the second half against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday...

Should Ryan McDonough be next to go?
After hearing people lamenting that the Suns traded their best player (Dragic), McDonough retorted, "Our response to that, I think, is that Eric Bledsoe and Markieff Morris are still in Phoenix Suns’ uniforms."
D'oh!

Yeah, I thought it was a dumb quote at the time, since I wasn't a fan of either one's games. Dragic is a winner and will do what he has to do to win. This was a low point, to me.

So far this season Booker is scoring less volume but he is contributing more on other areas. His rebounding numbers won't stay this high but I actually hope his assists hover around 5apg. Added intensity on defense is terrific news.

We all remember that. Dragic was our best player no question. McD needs to check the way he sends messages to the media. In this era everybody hears everything and words are juiced to the limit.

Didn't he start off slow last year too with his shooting %? Watching his effort with rebounding, I wouldn't be surprised if he kept up his rb numbers the entire year. I want to see his turnovers decrease and efficiency improve though.
