My player prop bets tonight:

Giannis Antetokounmpo - Get a double double (-220)
Jason Tatum - Over 22.5 Pts.+Reb.+Ast. (-120)
Nico Mirotic - Over 15.5 Pts. (-120)
Nico Mirotic - Over 25.5 Pts.+Reb.+Ast. (-120)
Aaron Gordon - Get a double double (+110)
Kemba Walker - Over 31.5 Pts.+Reb.+Ast. (-125)
Nic Batum - Over 1.5 Stl.+Blk. (+120)

Went 6 for 7, and would've got them all if Steve Clifford didn't have a stick up his ass and played Gordon more than 24 minutes. I know they got blown out, but c'mon, he's their best player.

Toronto put the hammer down on Boston to pull away at the end. Two best teams in the east IMO. We'll see if Milwaukee has something to say about that.

And pelicans drop 149. It was against sactown, but still impressive. Minnesota trying to blow a big lead over Cleveland.

Mirotic is out there doing his best Dirk impression so far this year.

What do the numbers on the side mean? I don't do much gambling.

Those are the betting odds. You probably knew that much.

The easiest thing to do is to think about it in terms of $10 (or $100, $1000, etc.). -220 means you'd have to bet $22 to win $10, that was a bet on a fairly heavy "favorite". A winning bet would pay $10 plus the original $22 for a total payout of $33 (minus whatever the book takes as a cut). I had $5 on it, so my winnings was something like $2.30.

When you see a plus (+), that indicates an underdog, so it's exactly the opposite as a favorite bet. Nic Batum was +120, so a $10 bet would win $12 plus the original $10 for a total payout of $22. I had $5 on that bet, so I won something like $5.60.

I usually only make bets of $5 because I'm not that competent (I usually get killed in college football) and it's just for a little fun. I had $5 on each of those bets for a total of $35 risked and came out with a winnings just under $20.

Another hot take: mirotic makes the all star team.
I would be stunned if that happened. He's playing great, but it's been 2 games.

Let their guard down in the 2nd half and let GSW back in it and the Jazz lost the game at the buzzer. :(

if NO is on their way to a 50+ wins, he makes it.

Even if he was good enough to deserve it, he wouldn't make it in.

Utah looked good and would have won the game, but the player all the blog boys have crowned as better than Booker couldn't close worth a darn, missing every shot I saw him take in the 4th.

Not exactly. His play last year as a Pelican was one of the 3 reasons they beasted in the playoffs and down the stretch of the regular season.

Mirotic has been fantastic through 2 games. If he keeps it up, might be tough to keep him off.
Mirotic is one of the most underrated players in the league. After he came back from injury in Chicago, the team went on a winning streak. He stepped in for Cousins with the Pels and that team did not miss a beat. Depending on the make up of your team, adding a complementary player can add more wins than a star player.

Yeah, that guy didn't look so hot. Looked like maybe he was a bit out of shape and in he was in early training camp form. Meanwhile (back in the Hall of Justice), Booker came off of hand surgery and didn't miss a beat and looked to be in prime form.
