Suns have been outscored 490-403 in the last 4 games. That's a difference of -21.8 a game.

Ungh.

Looks like we're going 1-81 this year.
Has anybody ever won ROTY on a 1-81 team?
The only guy I can think of at the moment is Walt Bellamy, who won Rookie of the Year in 1961-62 playing for the Chicago Packers (now the Washington Wizards). Bellamy averaged 31.6 ppg and 19 rpg.
Chicago was 18-62.

One more bit of joy to extract from this dumpster fire is how good EJ is. He is really one of the best color guys out there. Insightful, direct, honest, funny. He gets an A+ from Nathan.
Agree.
He has to be hurting to see how low this once-proud franchise has sunk.
Agree. Surprised all these years he hasn’t gotten the itch to try coaching

Five games in and Ayton is already the Suns' best player -

30.8 Min, 69.6 FG%, 84.6 FT%, 10.2 Reb, 4.0 Ast, 0.8 Trn, 0.8 Blk, 2.8 PF, 17.8 Pts
20 assists, four turnovers. I think we found our point guard!

For the pro-Jackson crowd here that has been watching the games, what have you seen from him other than the fact that he was the fourth pick to make you think he has any chance to be a special player? If he was drafted same as Melton he would be an afterthought

Suns need to put out an all-points-bulletin to find the guy who was wearing Ariza's jersey in the first game of the season.

I am having a difficult time thinking of any one particular thing he does well....

Anderson and Ariza need to just sit. Add them to the “vets” we acquire that are awful.

Jackson does seem to find Ayton a couple of times a game on lobs inside.

Other than that, he does little to inspire ...

We will trade Ariza in December when he is eligible.

Jackson has elite NBA quickness but no actual basketball skills, sadly. Another McDonough wiff I guess. The back-to-back busts will wind up setting us back years unless Jones can pull a rabbit out of a hat but it would need to be as soon as possible.

Not doing anything particularly well and coming in from the offseason without anything new is not a good look.

Is there really a pro-jackson crowd left?

Meanwhile De'Aaron Fox is putting up like 17/4/7 per looking like he can be a good starting PG we so desperately needed.

But hey, Booker can be a PG right?

I don't think so, at this point I'd take Bridges over Jackson.

The worst part is how smug McD was about "stealing" Jackson from Ainge.

Kokoskov says that the coaches don't teach effort but I think they'd better start.
