3 pt defense was the problem tonight. The Ayton/Baynes convo is not going to be great at closing out on the perimeter. I think we should retire it.

See what you can get for Baynes. Trade or buy out Tyler Johnson. See if there's any interest out there in Saric.
He’s untouchable, but now by how you mean. Nobody is going to touch his contract with how bad he’s been lately and how awful the team he’s leading has been. The Bobster wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 9:43 pmHe's certainly not untouchable.iLLmatic wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 9:41 pmIs trading away Rubio in that equation? The Bobster wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 9:33 pmTime to face the fact that they aren't a playoff team and get all the young guys minutes.

It was a bad idea to begin with. It’s not the problem though. Our problem is our priorities and mental toughness. We’re more focused on putting on a fashion show and pregame mosh pits instead of playing the right way
The thing is, while we’re not a playoff team if you’re comparing our level of play to what it usually takes to make the playoffs, we could still actually make the playoffs. There are 7 good teams in the west right now, and the 7th might blow up their roster. The 8th seed is wide open. I don’t think we’ll get it, but it’s there for the taking if we ever figure things out.Wally_West wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 9:44 pm+1The Bobster wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 9:33 pmTime to face the fact that they aren't a playoff team and get all the young guys minutes.

I don’t even think trading for Love could make us playoff team.
I feel really dumb for saying this was a playoff team earlier in the year. Even dumber for thinking we could be a top 6 team after that 7-4 start. They really pulled one over me.
Haha...was thinking the same thing. Might need to start watching some college ball
This dude found a way to age 10 years in 30 days. Why has no member of the media thought to ask him about this magic formula or as to why he’s using it on himself rather than his opponents?

We need a roster overhaul.Cap wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 9:41 pmLet’s get all the idiots out of town, and then forfeit the rest our our games because we don’t have enough guys left to field a team.specialsauce wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 9:26 pmPathetic. Get his ass out of town
For real.
How exactly does that impact the game? Kelly was perfectly fine tonight. Your hatred of him is becoming quite ridiculous. 17 points, 6 boards, 5/11 from the field, 3/8 from 3, 1 turnover. Nothing special, but he was hardly the reason we lost. He’s just an easy whipping boy for you because you dislike him as a person. It’s ok for basketball players to have a personality.specialsauce wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 9:48 pmIt was a bad idea to begin with. It’s not the problem though. He probably stopped taking what Ayton was on that he was trying to get out of his system.
Prediction: I think they really put it all together in the third half.Wally_West wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 9:19 pmThat feeling of the game slipping away is soul crushing.
Continues to take ill advised shots especially down the stretch, some awful fouls and just horrendous defense as usual.Split T wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 9:53 pmHow exactly does that impact the game? Tyrese Haliburton, but the Suns won't be picking high enough to get him.
