This has to be Mikal Bridges best game as a professional, right?

Marcus Smart gets way more leeway from the officials than any non-star in the league.

Great win. This is the first week of the season form we've been hoping would come back.

39/10/9 on 12/20 shooting for Book
26 on 6/8 from 3 and 2/2 steals/blocks for Bridges
26/15/2 for Ayton
13/11/5 for Saric

This would've been as ass whipping if Marcus Smart hadn't had a career night.

Or we had 1 reliable bench player

Rubio definitely having a hangover game.
Great to see Bridges break out with his shooting. Teams will notice and start closing out harder which can open up the dribble drive game. But we need some kind of offense from him.
I wouldn't be mad with PointBook as backup so long as he can clean up the TOs/bad passes. Got caught in doubles and turned it over a bunch trying to get it over the top to Ayton. He needs to decide to attack or get rid of it.
One thing Ayton doesn't do well is create space from himself. He's a taller, narrower big and tends to stay in one place and go straight up and down. He's not moving guys with bumps or clearing space with elbows/shoulders. He needs to get wide if he's going to come down and gather or work down in the post. Defensively some steps back with miscues on PnRs but had some defensive plays in the 1st qtr.
Really good game from Saric, who may be looking more comfortable and benefiting from Ayton?

Ayton only has three 20/10 games this season. But they have all occurred in the last 3 games.

Jerome was -10 in 4 minutes. Carter was -22 in 17 minutes. Ouch.

Another monster game from Ayton. Great to see him put two in a row together.

I really liked watching him in the 4th quarter. Really provides another valuable option to go to.
Super hot take: If this keeps up, have Oubre lead the bench unit (at least try it for a game)?

Jerome was just out there because Monty needed a warm body to put on the court. At least he ran around a lot.
Despite the -22 I thought Carter was fine. His defense wasn't terrible and he wasn't asked to do much of anything with the ball in his hands. He hit a couple of nice threes early in the game.

"Rubio definitely having a hangover game."
Took a hard elbow from Anus Kanter trying to get a rebound (wait, did I misspell Kanter's first name?)
