Disappointing loss. They went cold in the last 2 minutes. The lane violation was total BS. Someone noted Oubre didn’t end up with ball. He was right in on the ball and the refs blew the whistle and he stopped scrambling for it. He might have gotten it.

The Suns down a BU center, both PF’s and Cam forcing us to play a bunch of guards and still they should have won it.
A disappointing loss but, they are right there.

Just bad turnovers on offense, wasted possessions that keep giving the Thunder chances.
Yeah, makes it tough to win games with that and the fact they couldn't get a rebound to save their life in the first half.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

That's a jump ball not a violation!

Gut punch on the ref’s call at the end just to round out a thoroughly unenjoyable last quarter

I don’t understand why something like that “lane violation” aren’t reviewable in the last two minutes
Sure, we shouldn't have been in that position but it's inexcusable for a ref to make that call at the end of a game unless it was an obvious violation.

He didn't even watch the play. The replay shows him looking back towards the other side of the court when the play happened and blew his whistle anyway.

Why didn't they review it?

The 2 minute report came out and said that Oubre was leaning over the ft plane, which is a violation. I don't recall that ever being the rule, but I don't know the NBA rule book. I've never heard or seen that called in 40 yrs of playing, and coaching basketball. If that's a legit rule, it's a very obscure one that is never enforced, except against the Suns, by a guy who wasn't even watching the play and refused to review it with 4 seconds left.

Lu Dort did a great job wearing Booker out. By the 4th, he was a bit tired and it showed when he missed those 4 shots in the last 4 minutes.

The team is missing a lot of guys, and it really hurt them against the size of Gallo, Noel, and Adams with just Deandre.

They can't go through the game with only 3 starters contributing. This team needs to get healthy quick and needs help off the bench.

I've never heard of that in my life. I knew you couldn't step over the FT line until you hit the rim. Leaning? Are you serious?

The report claims he "stepped" across the line:

Farce. (Still don’t think it changed the result, but that’s just nonsense)

It’s BS. There is a lane violation on 99% of all free throws. Not leaning but, guys stepping in the lane and it’s rarely called. Leaning over the line violation? Pfft

They’re just not going to change any calls that are not 100% wrong. 99.9% of the time that’s not a lane violation, but technically speaking you can call that a violation by the rules, so they won’t change it. They missed the call against D’Aaron Fox the day before and they made sure not to miss it again.

Fox's was a clear violation. Oubre stepped across at the exact moment the ball hit the rim.
