Cam had a solid half as back up. He and Carter are problematic on D together

I’m just laughing at Jones at this point. He’s in over his head.

He’s really not been that bad, the refs just calling everything and he hasn’t adjusted. Playing too physical. Also got fooled by the Luka fakes...

Then Jalen just defends Luka again no foul and leads to a fastbreak.

His fouls were fouls. He looks like a rookie out there.

Ya probably, but a couple were borderline. Came up too high on a Luka drive, though Luka created the contact...bit on a Luka fake that was an obvious foul. Foul #4 was minor, but probably a foul. But one better players get away with. I don’t remember the other one

I don't think the blame for this half should go towards the team at all. These whistles have been hot and heavy the whole game. Disrupts the flow, and forces you to bring in worse players.

I want to post this while it's still true:

Bridges has more points than Doncic.

Sucks that Ayton picked up 3 quick fouls, but I do like that they were on offense. He was rolling aggressively, and going after the ball. Let’s see what he has in half 2.

Refs aren't doing any team favors. It's been hard to get into a rhythm when there's a whistle being blown on every play.

James Wiseman looks like Damian Jones with NBA abilities

Ayton was playing great defense and cleaning up the glass well, those fouls were a bummer, especially since like only 1 of them were legit, haha.

But for real, hopefully he has a solid 2nd half before he fouls out at the end of the 3rd Q.

It's really annoying how they officiate Suns players. I can barely stomach it anymore.

Who had Jalen Smith to the FT line before Ayton?

I have everybody going to the FT line before Ayton.

I think Cam will end up starting or playing more minutes over Crowder by mid season.

A lot of meh performances in the first half, but Mikal Bridges is having himself a game. If he really breaks out this year, that'd be amazing for us. Maybe our real "Big 3" are Booker, Paul, and Bridges?
