Crowder out the rest of the game with a foot injury. I’m sure with our non-existent training staff he’ll be out months while they search for a new foot for him. They still haven’t found a donor for Cam Payne.

Garbage time has started, so the suns immediately hit a meaning less three-pointer.

Monty needs to enforce that the team stop shooting 3s when they clearly can’t make any and DRIVE.

What was the Poor Effort lost ? Detroit ?

Because I remember the bad late execution losses, the ice cold shooting losses but the effort was bad tonight which is never good.
Even the bench guys here on for the last 5mins I thought would be playing had but they gave up a bunch of layups n dunks in this short time too

Alright! Had a long and frustrating day at work. Time to start the game on DVR and do a little Superbone and catch up with everyone well after the game. Here's hoping we impress tonight and Zion gets exposed as nothing more than overrated athleticism.

Thankfully I've been steering clear of the posts so it will be a surprise for me!

Pelicans scored 75 points in the second half.

End of story.

When they lose I'm usually left steaming because more often than not I'm at work with still 5+ hours left on my shift.
I'm off tonight so yea, to bed I go smh

Painful game to watch.

Booker had a nice pass to Ayton for a dunk in the paint. Should happen more often. Too many times Booker has Ayton pick, gets a switch or Booker is doubled, but no pass to Ayton for an easy score.

The 2nd unit had once awesome possession where everyone passes until there was an easy score. Most of the time everyone was jacking 3's whenever. Easiest way to lose a game.

Some negative thoughts:

- Booker shoots like 12% on wide open 3s. It makes no sense.
- Mikal is bringing the ball down on his 3s. It's not the full hitch, but it's a minor one he for some reason reverts to when he's struggling and it makes it worse.
- With no Payne or Dario, we should not be going with full bench-guy units. Moore-Gallo-Nader-Crowder- Frank is not a playable group. Take Paul out early so he can replace Moore in that lineup.
- I know it's super early and all of the things that have worked against him so far and his stroke looks pretty good, but there's a possibility that Jalen Smith either sucks or tops out at a spot-minute role player. I really hope I'm wrong. Haliburton's game today makes it hurt even more.
- I agree with everyone who said starting Cam made no sense today.

Ended up fast forwarding though that garbage and then deleting the recording as soon as I could. Wow. That had to be the worst game of the season. Zion ate our lunch. He was like 10 for 10 at one point. Holy shit. What a waste of an evening.

I knew this game was going to annoy me.

And it was a slow burn until the end of the 3rd when the fuse just exploded. What a drag of a game.

I was saying at the end of the third, “Could you guys suck any worse right now?” Who stole Cam’s mojo? He couldn’t hit the ocean from a row boat right now. The whole team has been in a 3pt shooting slump lately it seems and a lot of them have been wide open. Booker seems to be breaking out of his slump.

I knew there had to be empirical evidence as to why I have about *zero* confidence in Book when he takes uncontested 3's
