And as the fans chanted his name hroughout the desert
Monty heard their cries and all was good in the Valley as MV-Frank returns lol

Frank starts, we win. It’s as simple as that.

The Pelicans TV analyst guy is pretty bad. Makes me grateful to have EJ. The play-by-play guy is good and sounds familiar, but I can't recall his name.
My brother started watching the Pelicans broadcast tonight. He switched over to the Suns. Said the Pelican’s broadcast was boring. I’ll be watching the 4th quarter in a bit here. Their play by play guy is Joel Myers.

Book was just like us on here, a fan with a Front Row seat lol but I have no problem with that.
I actually think it was good on his part, he came in with the guys already rolling and even the times he got the ball around 8-10secs left in the shot clock he hot potato it back to CP3 to make the plays.

So good for him to understand there was no reason for him to command the ball or feel the need to get in on the action
EJ had it right. It felt like Booker had 10 points but he still led the team with 23.

This one felt good after a three quarter struggle!

Wow, what a fourth quarter. The dirty birds didn’t know what hit them. It was like a quick punch to the gut and they were suddenly on the floor. 42-12 is amazing and I think 5 of those 12 were in the last couple minutes after the starters went out.

It was 37-7 in the 4th with 1:30 remaining. Basically when the Pels replaced Redick with Bledsoe, that was the nail in the coffin. They finally took Bledsoe out with 2 minutes remaining at which point it was all over but the shouting.

Aside from the entire fourth quarter, a highlight was Booker running over Bledsoe and, as Bledsoe lay there like a gaffed tuna, looking for an offensive foul call, Booker calmly sank a three. Bledsoe looked at the bench for Van Gundy to challenge, but Stan had already blown NO's challenge early in the game.

I like how we adjusted from the loss last game against the Pels. We switched Ayton onto Zion early and it seemed to bother him a bit. He still got his points inside going 8-11 and 7-10 from the line, but he wasn't bullying his way into the paint anytime he wanted and we did a good job of limiting his shot attempts. We need to figure out how to stay on Ball tho who went 6-12 from 3. And I hoped Mikal and Cam would do a better job on Ingram who had 25pts on 10-20 but not much else.

As to whether Frank continues to start, I'm not sure why we'd switch it up right now and replace him with Jae. They both seem settled into their roles. The offense is clicking with Frank in the starting group even if he's giving up some points and rebounds inside. If his 3s start dropping regularly he's that much more dangerous and pulling opposing bigs outside the paint. And Jae seems made for the hustle/energy 3-D role off the bench and has been hitting big shots when closing out games with the starters. Frank played 16 minutes last night, Jae got 29 and Cam got his 22 minutes so the rotation seems about right.

I was out all day yesterday and finally started listening to the game on the radio while I drove home in the second quarter. Got home right before the start of the 4th and didn't even turn on the TV - I figured they might lose this one. Did some stuff around the house, then flipped on the TV to see the post game show and saw the final score and yelled out WTF!!! I was mad I didn't turn it on. So I set the DVR to record the replay in the middle of the night and just watched it. Wow. That 4th quarter was impressive and much needed after the Nets implosion.

Kellen Olson with a little wink at phx-suns.net:

"Monty Williams said it's great to see Deandre Ayton have those moments like the start of the 4th and that it's good for DA's confidence. Said that everyone on the team is rooting for him. No one is getting caught up in some of the narratives around him."

Well I have definitely been caught up in them, but I’m glad people in the team aren’t...
