Valiant effort. Didn’t expect to win this one.
I did expect more from Saric and Crowder on offense. I don’t know what’s going on with Saric. He looks lost out there most of the time.
Ayton had a great couple of quarters. He really fought. Problem is that he didn’t exist in the 4th.
Cam Johnson -18 tonight. He needs to be more of a threat on offense.
Good measuring stick game. Tough on a back to back. Really need another big when Saric is playing like shit. Hopefully Jones knows this

A couple of observations.
There is not a team in the league I dislike more right now than the Clippers. Beverly, M*****, & George are at the top of the list. And 2 of them were ejected tonight. Big surprise.
The second is Monte and his substitution patterns. Ayton was going to town in the 3rd and getting hot. Then Monte pulls him and that’s it. Ride the hot hand and stop disrupting their flow. He did the same thing to someone else last night(can’t remember who it was).

A Morris gonna do what a Morris does.

I just watched the highlights again. You’re not going to beat a team making threes like that very often. They made a bunch of contested 3s and late clock shot 3s. Proud of the effort the guys put in coming off a back to back OT game and on the road.

Shitty but predicable loss. I think the middle of the 3rd is when we started to drag and then it slowly slipped away as the 4th went on. Credit all the guys for hanging tough, we know what the situation was. Clips just made too many 3s. They shoot the 3 better than anyone, but they were hitting some tough ones against good defense.
We took their best shots tho, didn't get rattled, didn't get caught up in their tough guy bullshit from Bev or Morris. George hurt us the 1st half, Kawhi hurt us the 2nd half. Everyone else just hit their 3s.
I liked that we were able to sustain while Paul was on the bench. Monty tried managing his minutes to keep him fresh and Payne held things down well enough, tho he missed an easy layup off an inbounds and a FT that could've helped us in the 3rd. Nothing from Jae or Dario on offense unfortunately. DA with another really impressive game on both ends, probably didn't go to him enough. We need a 3rd big tho in the worst way. Love Dario but when he's off we just have no one else up front. Don't love the idea of Jae or Craig at the 5.

The Clippers are such punk-ass bitches. I hate Beverley and Morris so much. That shoulder-elbow Tekken combo Beverley threw at Chris Paul has no place in the game. Stuff like that is just a deliberate attempt to hurt the opposing player. You should get a huge suspension for that.

Bev and Morris are the worst, just cheap shot artists who have a "tough rep".

Well, when Rondo is hitting a long 3, it just ain't your night.
I thought Rondo was the difference for them.
George and Leonard are going to get their numbers.
Rondo coming off the bench with 15 pts and 9 assists, plus some dagger treys, feed the Clippers momentum.

This. When Rondo scores 15 or more, his team hasn't lost in the last 2 seasons. If you extend that to 5 years, his team is 22 and 8 (73.3%).

This was a tough game. Give the Clips some credit, they came to play and were locked in from the outside. They played decent defense too and made it hard to get really good shots by the Suns. With that said, the Suns looked like their legs were a bit heavy, they couldn't shoot very well and it felt like the Clippers couldn't miss. You aren't going to win many games if you are -36 from the 3 pt line and it looked like we got out of our offense a few times. Normally, the Suns don't get beat in the assist department, yet were a -6 in this too. Now both of these could be slightly accounted for on the bad 3 pt shooting in this game. Dario looked horrible on his Bday. Was he celebrating early? Haha

Imagine if we have to play the Clippers in a playoff series--Chris Paul vs. Rondo and Beverley. No way we get through that series without suspensions lol.

I thought the Clippers did a good job of locking down on Booker. He started 4-4, I think, the Clippers adjusted, and the Suns just didn't have another gear to shift into.
