I'll need a couple of beers to calm down... what a great, gritty win.

It wasn’t one of their typical games apparently and the Suns hung just fine without Book thankfully. Going to make it really tough to extend the streak through our game at Golden State on a back-to-back though.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 9:21 pmThe 3rd quarter is when the Warriors typically bury teams. It's gonna be tough for the Suns to keep pace without Booker.
The Warriors performed almost exactly like I expected they would, just switch Curry and Poole's stats.Superbone wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 10:36 pmYou dodged that one with ease. You had it right with him.Superbone wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 3:55 pmI'll be watching for that and I'll be liberal with the blame if he goes off.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 3:54 pmI hope Kerr tries to get rotation minutes out of Chris Chiozza. He plays hard, but he's not good. He's basically Jevon Carter without quite the same level of on-ball defense.
Now that I've said it, Chiozza will probably hit a bunch of three pointers or something stupid.![]()
Steph had the worst shooting night of his career so we can cut him some slack. But he was a step off on everything offensively. No rhythm in transition, couldn't get a look from 3, nothing off the dribble and even dribbled it off his foot. Just didn't have it on that end.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 10:25 pmI have to give Mikal a pass on this game because his defense was incredible, but he was really bad on offense in this game.
2:40pm over here. I haven't had a weekday daytime beer since the playoffs. It tastes great today.LazarusLong wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 10:40 pmI'll need a couple of beers to calm down... what a great, gritty win.
Bridges was quite impressive on him and played him about as well as possible. Curry averaged one made basket per quarter. Could never have guessed that.ShelC wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 9:05 pmA very fast game, faster than we're used to which may play into the Ws' hands. Some uncharacteristic TOs, GS has thrown us off a bit with their pace and some zone. Poole and Porter have really hurt us and I wouldn't expect Curry to be as quiet in the 2nd half.
Being reported Book is out for the game so more Shamet and Payne.
Monty said it was cramps. I think Cam will be fine.Split T wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 10:41 pmThis next Pistons game is the trapiest of all trap games. In between two games against what’s been the league’s best team, first night of a back to back looking ahead to the Warriors game, missing key players in Book and maybe Cam(heard he limped off late). Getting to 18 might be tough.
That’s good to hearFurlanfufi wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 10:43 pmMonty said it was cramps. I was starting to sweat that first quarter. Seemed like nobody from the Warriors could miss from 3.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 9:42 pmI look like a genius with my Jordan Poole to win the Most Improved Player award right now, but I'd prefer he miss some of these shots.
Don't forget the pizza too.LazarusLong wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 10:40 pmI'll need a couple of beers to calm down... what a great, gritty win.
Those TNT guys don’t have any respect for the Suns. Both Shaq and Kenny predicted a Warriors win before the game. Only Charles picked the Suns.
Hmm. I wonder if the guy guarding him had anything to do with that.ShelC wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 10:41 pmSteph had the worst shooting night of his career so we can cut him some slack. I'm pretty sure Shel is talking about Mikal on offense.Superbone wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 10:53 pmHmm.
