Adding Siakam does what exactly? He doesn't defend well, he rebounds ok, he doesn't stretch the floor. Who picks up the slack there?
I guess you're just not watching him enough.

You're one of the biggest Ayton bashers around here and Siakam is a clear upgrade. Why the cold feet?
He shoots 31% from 3.

The cold feet come from giving up multiple picks for a guy who is gonna need a max deal at the age of 30. Not interested in tying up max money in another guy I don't think is a max player.
He shot 34% last year and I’m not putting a ton of stock into the Raptors individual numbers this year. They’re a mess right now.

So you want to hold on to the more overpaid guy because the other guy will be less overpaid in the future? Because of two non-lottery draft picks?

I don't believe Siakam will be less overpaid, and I do not believe his game will age well.
Love, Hurts.

“But he’s an All-NBA superstar!”

Oh wait, he didn’t even make the All-Star game…

I’m sure these 3 tweets are all completely unrelated to each other…

I thought it was weird when Monty pulled him after like 4 minutes to start the last game.

That lineup at the beginning of the second quarter to let the game slip away was an…interesting decision. That’s all I’ll say about that.

I agree! We can't have these non-scoring lineups in there giving up huge runs. Same thing happened against the Raptors.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I don’t understand the minute limitations on Cam Johnson. The only thing that can happen at this point is a new tear. Seems strange.

Well, apparently he's totally out tonight to rest the knee. Could be a matter of not taxing it too much, too fast.

Also could be a precaution to make sure we don't injure a player that might end up involved in a trade.
