I think it’s important we take back some players with term (as they say in hockey) so we have flexibility this summer. Without a pipeline of young players we could easily mirror the Lakers roster makeup (all huge contracts or vet mins).

Yeah we can’t just let all of that expiring salary go to waste when we are over the cap.

Gambo spoke to DA’s camp and they said yes Dallas is interested in DA but Phoenix is not trading DA. Period. (As I've been saying all along.)

Would expect the dominos to start falling for us after the game tonight into tomorrow. Suns play tonight, off tomorrow, and then back-to-back Thursday and Friday. Timing will be crucial if they are going to do something substantial as it's probably not a good idea to go into those 2 games with like only 8 guys and with Booker possibly not playing back to backs either.

Hasn’t bothered JJ all season, why let it start now.

Just please get something useful for Jae Crowder.

I'm not a big fan of D'Angelo Russell. Though I have to admit, I just opened his stats for this year and they aren't as dismal as I thought they would be.
18.1 ppg on .464/.389/.856 splits; 6.2 ast; 3.1 reb; 1.1 stl; 2.8 tov; in 33.2 mpg.
I've always thought he looked dreadful by the "eye test" and not like a winning player. So I wouldn't want to give up real assets for him. CERTAINLY not picks, but even guys like Payne have value and fit in with our team and I wouldn't want to lose them for Russell. Maybe something like Shamet / Crowder, I guess, but then I just noticed that Russell is making $30,000,000 this season. Oof. That's a huge overpay.

So I've read both "he wants to make a major impact." ~Woj and "we're going to be active but also feel like they are contenders with what they have and won't look to make any major changes." ~Rankin. Both are supposedly Ishbia quotes. Which is it? Which reporter is the Lying Liarson?
Me thinks Woj is the Lying Liarson.

Folks chatting about this on other boards. Don't think it has much traction.
Not sure why the Mavs in particular would have any interest in Ayton since they have a pretty going think going in shutting him down when it matter. Just saying. They clearly don't know how to use JaVale either.

Fuckin Woj keeps sending out tweets that nets won’t trade KD and specifically won’t trade him to Suns lol

Because the Nets are telling him as much.

That’s what the 20+ plus tweets he sent already are saying.

I’m afraid the two games he watched in person has made him think we’re better than we are.

Well I think you have to say that…He can’t say we suck and need help. Then teams know we are desperate

"I think we have a championship-contending team without doing anything over the next 2 days.”
So James Jones and Ishbia are on the same page.
