Yep, I actually think that is the main problem with this team and has been ever since he arrived. He isn't a leader but his 'aura' has an impact on the players around him who seem to favour his 'chill lax' approach to the game over anything they are being instructed to do but Bud or Vogel before him. I won't be sorry to see him leave when he finally starts pouting and gets traded.specialsauce wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 8:28 pmHe's a parasite. His "chill" vibes have infected the locker room. I just want a CP3 locker room back.Split T wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 8:18 pmIt happened when he was on the bench in this one…specialsauce wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 7:57 pmIt's Kevin Durant. Too fucking cool for school.he is a parasite.
I’m not actually that worried about this one…ya it’s lame they let up and let Washington back in it..but even the best teams do that. I don’t think that specifically speaks to anything. They thought Washington would pack it up and they didn’t.
We played great for 3 quarters…but it was against the wizards..one of the worst teams in awhile…so I’m not taking anything from that either. Show me something against Detroit or better yet, Cleveland.
Exactly my thinking....how much of a dropoff would it really be if you took Tyus off the team and gave his minutes to Monte? You can probably get a few seconds for Tyus, and the Suns don't have Bird rights anyways, so he will walk in FA. Accumulate as many assets as you can, this team is clearly going nowhere.
I think a guy like James Jones knows the score but Ishbia either thinks this team is close to contending or won't swallow his pride and take the hit.Kryptonic wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 7:06 amMan I’d love to be a fly on the wall in the suns front office to hear their views on the teams place and trajectory…. Something tells me they’re idea of where they are and our opinion are vastly different. I feel they think they’re really close, while the rest of us know they need to blow it up. We’re barely competing against sub .500 teams and no way we can hang with the elite, deeper teams.
I think you’re pretty dead on… I like Ishbia’s fire, and desire to be great and don’t want to knock all the good he’s done but wish he’d leave the decision making to the people he’s hired to do those jobs. Still hoping for some miracle moves to salvage the season and at least get us pointed in the right directionShelC wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 7:22 amI think a guy like James Jones knows the score but Ishbia either thinks this team is close to contending or won't swallow his pride and take the hit.Kryptonic wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 7:06 amMan I’d love to be a fly on the wall in the suns front office to hear their views on the teams place and trajectory…. Sometimes all they need is a chance.
Don’t forget the pick that ended up being Dan Majerle. The Bobster wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2025 6:42 pmSometimes all they need is a chance.
I remember we traded and All-Star to Cleveland and they sent us their backup point guard, center and small forward. That turned out to be Kevin Johnson, Mark West and Tyrone Corbin.
Even if he's only West or Corbin level good it's a big win.
Also a pick swap that turned into Dan Majerle, who was a backup for us.The Bobster wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2025 6:42 pmSometimes all they need is a chance.
