Reports are that Griff knew he was going to be fired. So he should have fired Willie right before he was fired, so he could hire him in Phoenix. :P
Should have also traded Beal for ZIon... lol

Griffin was bad in NOLA though…I don’t want him back
Was he??

Herb Jones. Trae Murphy. Dyson Daniels. The trade for Murray. I thought these were all hits.

That pelicans team is nasty good. The freak injuries and the curse of Zion is not on him I don't think
Some good draft picks, but hasn’t really put a good team together. The Murray trade didn’t look great before his injury, but it looks awful now. Some of it isn’t his fault(Zion), but got nothing for Ingram…just should’ve done more imo.

Well, we all know Chris Paul is going to be the hot candidate for coaching jobs when he retires. We might as well kick the tires now.

Player-coach? Is that still allowed? Sign me up!

You can't even have player/assistants anymore.

You can do what Miami did and just keep signing Haslem to contracts with 0 expectations he’ll play

The difference is that if Paul wants to play, he's still good enough to demand minutes somewhere.

I wouldn't mind him running point here.

"What if we had kept Chris Paul" will be one of the great laments in Suns history.

Biggest "What ifs?" in SUns history -

- What if they had won the coin flip for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
- What if they had kept Dennis Johnson instead of John MacLeod?
- What if Joe Johnson hadn't broken his face in the playoffs?
- What if they had re-signed Joe Johnson?
- What if they had called the technical foul for excessive timeouts by Boston in game 5 of the 1976 Finals?
- What if Mat Ishbia had some patience?

and so many more......

What if Paxson's 3 rims out?
What if Mario Elie's 3 rims out?
What if Randy Livingston hadn't fallen on Googs's leg?
What if we had not run Dragic off by acquiring Bledsoe and Thomas for a 3-PG offense?
What if Giannis's knee injury had kept him out of our Finals series?
What if CP3 and Saric had stayed healthy during our playoff run?
What if we had drafted Luka over Ayton?
What if we had drafted Haliburton over Stix?
What if we had not traded a decade of draft picks plus Mikal, Cam, Crowder, and CP3 for KD and Beal?

Keep it going fellas :)

The Haliburton one is perhaps the biggest one for me.

Also…

What if Joe Kleine hadn’t destroyed Danny Manning’s knee in practice?

I'd also add what if we took De'Aaron Fox over Josh Jackson?
SGA over Bridges? In addition to Bridges?

If the trade for the pick on draft day for Curry had gone through. I think that was when Kerr was Suns Coach/GM
