durant and westbrook did not play in the fiba worlds. how did that work out for them?

Brutal game.
Len and Markieff were decent. So far Len seems like a great help defender which is encouraging.
Plumlee troubles were expected vs utah forwards.

I also didn't play in the FIBA tournament, and a fat lot of good it's doing me.

That was terrible. Thought they could just show up and win. Good early lesson. I'm sure coach will let them have it.

refs bailed out chicago with foul called 0.2 secs remaining. minny should have won that game with clutch shot from kevin martin.

Me too.

@billsimmons My early-season League Pass MVPs are Minnesota and Phoenix. I'm sending 2 Ewing Theory committee members to 'Sota on Monday.

I didn't see any of the game, but I'm not too concerned. It had the look of a let-down game from a long way out. It would have been nice to go 3-zip but I'm more interested to see how we bounce back and play against the Lakers and Memphis.

To possibly put the Lakers in an O & 5 hole sounds good to me.

Lakers are 0-4 but playing better. I think we drop to 2-2 in our next game.

I've been firmly against watcing that show. But I saw the Barry Allen episodes and the finale of Season 2 and they weren't half-bad, so I've given Season 3 a shot. I'm deeply offended that they cast Matt Nable as Ra's Al Ghul.

Getting Tucker back will help.

That ain't cuttin' it.
Marcus isn't going to give you much on the boards, at least not consistently. Don't ask him to be something you know he isn't.

Len still runs right into the PGs way on the PnR damn near every time.
Pretty sure that's by design. They want him following right behind for the putback, I guess.
... I predicted Dragic would regress this season, and 1/27 of the season in, it's been true. I imagine he's not perfectly happy playing the 2 100% of the time.
Hayward kicked our butts nearly as much as Favors did. This was a game where either Tucker or Warren could have been a big help.
This question really shouldn't be asked for another month at least, but both GG and Goran will be up for new contracts this summer. Maybe it makes more sense to extend Gerald than Goran, given the make-up of the team? At some point, are we going to want a shooting guard on this team? Goran's good on the fast break and all, but when TJ starts we're going to have a lot of transition punch even without the Dragon.
Overall, not too worried about that game. If we didn't know Kieff was undersized, we know now. Our guard play was a little worrisome. What sticks out most in these first 3 games, from my perspective, is how flat our offense has been to start every game. Our starting line-up needs TOUGH BUCKETS!
