From BrightSide:

"I listened to an interview with Adrian Woj this morning<br />He said that he sees almost zero chance of Dragic being traded. He said that every team exec he has talked to told him they got totally stone walled every time they approached the Suns about a trade for Dragic. He also said that while Thomas has put up good numbers for the Suns, it is the general impression that it has come at the expense of other players. Woj expects that Thomas and Green are the most likely trade fodder."

Cool beans, wont miss Thomas, but while he can frustrate the heck outta me, I'm not sure moving Green would be the best idea. We'd have a very questionable bench sans Thomas and Green.

What about something like IT and Tucker for Taj Gibson?

Does Chicago not do that?

YOu never know about these reports, but this just seems to ring true.

I hope so. I like Thomas but I just don't think we need him here. We need more balance. The three PG lineup just doesn't work for me. The Houston game showed why we can't end games with that lineup. It might work in small spurts but it's not going to give a team long term success and it definitely wouldn't work in the playoffs.

I think Bledsoe, Dragic and Green all need more minutes to be effective. IT is too good to be injury insurance. I really would've just kept Ish, since he seemed more content without getting major minutes. But now I think Ennis would do fine as an injury insurance. We really need to create some minutes to see what Goodwin and Warren can provide. Wouldn't hurt if we could manage to get a banging big guy in return like Taj Gibson, Faried or even Jordan Hill.

Let Bledsoe walk? Sign Bledsoe for the QO? Not sign IT? Its easy to be upset, its not so easy to suggest a better scenario.
Honestly, I'd have preferred all three of those scenarios to what transpired.

I don't think there's any way Chicago does that. Firstly, they like Taj Gibson, who's excellent off the bench and very good starting for the games Noah inevitably misses during a season.
Also they've got an IT-type player off the bench already in Brooks.

what do you think would happen if he trades away the guy who became 3rd team all nba last year for a low 1st round pick before the trade deadline? the suns will start playing better? the suns will rally around winning? or will the suns adopt the mentality of "winning by losing" thru tanking again?

Bledsoe and Dragic are getting over 33 minutes a game. You think they need more?

I think Dragic needs more minutes on the ball, thats the only change he needs.

That's right. I'd love to hear stats about his "usage rate" or whatever metrics show how much he actually handles the ball. I bet he's way down on that this year.

Well I think Green needs more minutes to get into a shooting flow. Dragic needs more minutes on at pg. As does Bledsoe. Yeah they're averaging 33mpg which is fine. But a lot of those minutes are at sg, since when IT is in, he has the ball. The balance was way better last year.

Two trades to make:

#1 (as recommended by Kevin Pelton this morning)
Phoenix->Miami: IT, Green
Miami->Phoenix: Deng

#2
Phoenix->Chicago: Tucker, Plumlee, 2 second rounders
Chicago->Phoenix: Taj Gibson, Cameron Bairstow

Lineup:
Goran/Ennis
Bled/Goodwin/Zoran/Bullock
Deng/Marcus/Warren
Markieff/Gibson
Len/Wright/Bairstow

I'd be on board but only if both trades are made. Not sure Tucker and Plumdog net you Gibson though.

I sure haven't heard many trade rumors surrounding the all-star game. Calm before the storm?
