Honestly, if he went down with an injury and couldn't play these next 15 games, I actually think our wins go up, not down. It isn't worth keeping a guy like that in your rotation to keep your pretty good scoring, non-rebounding PF on the team.
My only counter is that maybe they're just young knuckleheads who will grow out of it. Would you put up with them if you knew that in 1-2 years they'd have cut out the crap and would be playing with more maturity? Marcus might not morph into a great player, but maybe he'd become one we could put up with on the roster and who didn't actively hurt us. I wouldn't bet my life savings on that, but it is certainly possible. They are 25 and still somewhat young all things considered.
I don't see them getting more humble after they cash in next year. Remember that they are still on their rookie deals right now. They don't get paid until next year. So if you are saying that maybe when they reach 27-28 they will stop doing stupid things on and off the court, would I want to put up with them for the meantime, my answer is no. They aren't going to be a centerpiece or even an auxiliary piece of a great team. And I say that thinking that Keef could be, if he could exist without his brother. I just can't see that happening.

I have turned on Bedsoe. I was a big supporter, but after watching him in person last night, I am convinced he is not a pg. He has no concept of pushing the ball except when he has his own fast break. He does not keep up his dribble, he does not distribute well, he drives the lane without a place to go (and does not maintain his dribble like Nash so he can come back out).
He does play good D. His rebounding is negligible. Most of his boards are uncontested rebounds with his own teammates standing around.
This offense will never be good with Bledsoe at pg. He does not have the handles, shot, or court awareness.

"I played great defense," said Bledsoe, whose counterpart, Tyreke Evans, went 4 for 16 with three assists. "I had 11 rebounds. I helped my teammates on the boards. I had a bunch of steals (four) too. So, if I'm not making shots, I don't worry about it because I do so much to help my team win."
That's a horrible quote. I'm not a total Bledsoe hater and don't insist that we get rid of him ASAP, but a quote like that really rubs me the wrong way.
Someone should point out to him that he's the primary floor General for what might be the worst offense in the NBA (this side of New York) over the last few weeks.

If that is the criteria, then half of our team rebounds don't count. I don't think that part is fair. The rest of it, I am on board with. And maybe this is just that I was sitting in a different spot last night, but that comment about him looking right where he is going to pass the ball is so damn true. I can't count how many times he would stop his dribble (or jump in the air), then turn his entire head right where he wanted to pass the ball, then pass it there. It was such a predictable series of events, and it drove me crazy.

This probably sounds like I am defending him, but I am not. That said, I think our offense is awful primarily because none of our starters move without the ball. There are 2.5 guys on our team that move well without the ball. It is Wright, TJ, and a quarter of Archie and a quarter of Green. That's it. It is so disappointing to watch.

We had four pg's to start the year, but only one of them was a true distributor, and he was a rookie. I agree about Wright. He is a player we need to try to keep. His interior defense and offensive efficiency were outstanding last night.

Depending on whats available in the trade market, I don't see anyone on the team I wouldn't move. Len is probably the closest thing to untouchable, but if say Cousins is available and they want Len, bye Alex, have a nice life. I'll trade any young unproven for a more proven player nearly every time.

Nobody on this team is untouchable of course. There's probably a half-dozen players in the league who are absolutely untouchable.

I would say Bullock is gone, too, due to the fact he's glued to the end of the bench. Hell, Earl Barron gets more run. And Barron is gone, too.
I like the idea of Granger, but wonder if he has anything left in the tank. Otherwise, he's an older version of Marcus. Blehh.
