I've warmed to the idea of Aaron Gordon. I was watching a lot of Gordon video these last two days.

I know Point Book isn't ideal, but Book/JJ/Bridges/Gordon/Ayton lineups would be fun.

I'm very much against all of these.
Me too. None of them make sense.

I've always been intrigued by Randle. Bradley and Ariza can be left. If we move Chriss/Warren and can find minutes for Randle, I like the fit next to Ayton.

He can't space the floor and his strengths are duplicated by Ayton.

Weird, I hate it.

That's actually what I have issue with: Randle doesn't fit with Ayton. Neither are perimeter players. Also, that essentially leaves Jackson no room to operate.

Ryan being Ryan.

I'd take a lot of salary from the Nuggets for Jamal Murray.

I absolutely do not believe that the suns have interest to Julius Randle. At all. That sounds like some agent smokescreen shit too me.

Could have just drafted him.

Why would Denver trade him?

I don't think they would, but getting off Faried's deal would be worth $50M for them.

Trey Lyles would actually be interesting.

Julius Randle is a nice player who had a big year last year, but he makes no sense for us. Ariza is ok, I think he can be helpful, but I wouldn't spend much on him...or give him more than a year or two. I wouldn't hate a Bradley signing, but I wouldn't want to commit long term to him either.

I like Randle's ability to play on the perimeter, handle the ball and pass. He and Ayton could make a nice high post passing combo. Spacing would be an issue but if Ayton can step out, that helps things.

Randle can handle a bit, but he's best served being a bully in the post. I don't think you can play Ayton and Randle together and still capitalize on their strengths... Randle would get in Ayton's way and Ayton would end up just being a spot up shooter.

But why would we want Ayton out there? Randle and Ayton are both at their best inside. Playing together would detract from each of their strengths.

https://twitter.com/careystephen/status/1013270454872797185 I had just talked about this on Twitter. So Ariza signs almost exactly what his win shares from last year indicated he should get. Was off by $200k.
