I didn’t have any problems with Ayton tonight. He and Book played well. That’s it. CP3 did start to get it going before he got hurt.
8 rebounds. Jokic had 16. He did not have a great game. He was better than game 1, but 14/8/4 from your max guy with 1 block and 4 turnovers isn’t cutting it. Bar is set that low?
He wasn’t the reason we lost last night, but he didn’t help us win either.
This entire loss is on Monty. Doesn’t have his players ready. They’ve completely abandoned their offensive sets again. Awful rotations and the fact that he’s playing his least skilled bench players while letting Ross and TJ rot is a fireable offense.
The loss is on James as well for making no attempt year after year to upgrade the backup G spots.

We lost because our 3 point shooting was abysmal, 6/31. If we had shot at a 30% clip, that's ballgame. Now, I blame a lot of that on the fact that our interior threat is non existent, which thus fails to open up better looks. Against Jockic, DA had ZERO Fouls...ZERO. Nobody is being forced to defend him and pay any kind of penalty. He's 250 pounds of SOFT. If he demanded more at the interior, we'd have had more success from the arc.

Our expectations have been lowered as to what constitutes a good game for Ayton. Now it jut means that he gives a shit and is at least trying. Unfortunately, that's what its come to based on his play this year.
I have a hard time believing any team is watching Ayton right now and still eager to give I up anything of value for him.

I honestly think Ayton just doesn’t know how to play the way we’re playing right now. He’s used to pick and roll with CP3. He looked lost, he’s not a dunker spot guy. I think his actions after being pulled are because he’s pissed at himself.
That’s offense at least. The defense I don’t understand. No excuse there.

So it is Monty’s fault!

Haha..I’d say it’s James Jones fault(if we’re not blaming Ayton himself). Should’ve moved him before he tanked his value

Yep, they overplayed their hand a bit. Billy Duffy was able to strongarm one team and it put the Suns into a corner.

Yep, 2 of those guys love hoops and the other one is a broken child with no confidence, admin was probably instructed to put Max C on there as the big one lol.
