This has certainly moved a lot of people to feel a certain way about it, on both sides.

How people were going to react was easy to predict…everyone has picked their side and nothing will change their minds

You don’t need a crime to convict, The Dems could have done this to Reagan, or a Bush, or Gingrich, or McConnell, or any other problematic Republican in recent history, but never did because of an unwritten rule against prosecuting politicians.

Or maybe the reason Trump is a convict and all those other Republicans aren’t is because he committed a blatant crime.

No, that's only part of the blowback. The blowback is going to be the precedent that's set. Political prosecution by whatever party is in charge. So, if Trump wins, you can expect a full house cleaning of anyone that has played a part in this, and then the 500,000 sealed indictments will be opened and actioned on. If any of you have an account on pacer.gov, go look up if I'm lying about the number of sealed indictments there is now.

I will say this seems like something I don’t care that much about…what’s happening with his trial for trying to steal the election or his role in 1/6? That’s what he needs to be tried for. This one seems kinda pointless as it’s not going to change anything. His supporters don’t care.
