Don't count out Kyle O'Quinn and, to a lesser extent, Derrick Wiiliams.

Even so, I just don't think Toronto has a need for Kieff. They need a PF, but more an athletic, hustle defender they lost in Amir Johnson.

We're adding Cory Jefferson and Henry Sims to our training camp roster. Both are still relatively young and good big man depth. I wouldn't be surprised to see one of them last past Oct 31st.

According to the latest NBA 2K16 video, the Suns will be changing the center court logo from the SUNS ambigram to the sunburst logo.

I actually prefer the Sun burst over the "SUNS" lettering for center court. Now, they just need to re-add some purple back onto the court.

Grantland recently ranked the Suns court design as the 2nd worst in the NBA and it's hard to disagree. It looks way too Halloween-y. Get some color up in that thing.

I agree. And we used to have such a nice design back in the day. Give me the Barkley era court any day:

I'll take the original court with the ambigram over that one.

Wow. That '90s court is immeasurably better than this current monstrosity:

If they replace the black with a hot/deeper purple, is it better?

New rumor today is us trading Kieff for Tristan Thompson if the Cavs aren't willing to give him 80mil. I not only wouldn't give him 80mil, I'd hope he becomes UFA and then walks next year. He's not worth 80mil, it's questionable he's even a starter, he's not a great fit next to Chandler and I don't want us dealing with Rich Paul again. But I'd move Kieff and Tucker for him, let him walk next year and then make a big push for Horford.

I am not sure what the hate is of the current court. Yes, it needs purple, but overall, I prefer simplistic courts to some of the crazy ones out there.

So like Shel said, if you just replace the black with purple, are you good with it?

No.
You want it to be more ostentatious?

I'm not all up in arms over the court design. Sure, put a little purple back in it...whatever. Honestly, it would be the last thing we would discuss if the quality of play on it was much much higher. I prefer simplistic/classic designs with less painting. My kid's high school redid their floor this summer, and it looks fantastic.

Where are you hearing this?

Given the lack of options for moving Keef, I'm interested.

Definitely not the most terrible option, the Rich Paul thing is a turn-off, but I don't think Thompson is a bad player. Definitely not worth $80 million under the old CBA, but under the new? Who knows?
