That's probably why he hasn't been signed yet. Which one of those contracts did the team not regret paying last year?
No doubt. If he is waiting for 20M per, he probably is in for a rude awakening.

Still, no sweat. Len can just wait out the summer, get no interest from other teams, don't communicate with the Suns FO, and then near the end of the summer the Suns will offer him money far beyond what he could reasonably hope to get from anyone else.

Worked for Bleds.

Yeah, but he doesn't have the mighty Rich Paul working for him.

I have been for moving Bledsoe a long time, but right now the league considers him to be on a very good contract. That will likely change the second he misses 40 games...

Bled for DJ Augustine + Mario Hezonia + 2 future firsts.

Augustine was waived by the Magic. I think you could extract two firsts only if you make a major cap sacrifice like taking Biyombo, for instance. At least that's what I'd demand if I were Orlando (would try Mario and only a first too).

Anyway, since they have a new GM, we can't tell if he wants to win now or rebuild. They have not done anything so far.

https://twitter.com/WindhorstESPN/status/888483595307933697 What would be the thoughts on a bled for Kyrie trade? We'd have to include more, not sure what though.

They'd ask for Bledsoe, Chriss and a first. We'd say No. They'd ask for Bledsoe Warren and a first. I'd probably do Bledsoe and Warren or Bledsoe and the weaker first on a year we have 2.

I think this is an opportunity we need to pounce on. I am not in love with Irving but I see him as a significant step up from Bledsoe and would fill a spot in the "Big 3" mold, Booker, Irving, _____.

I'd do Bledsoe, Chriss, and a 1st as long as that's not our own 1st in 2018.

I wouldn't be super thrilled about a Kyrie/Booker backcourt on defense, but Kyrie is too special of an offensive talent to pass on. A 3 team deal with Kyrie going elsewhere could be interesting.

If we can get Kyrie Irving for Bledsoe, a non-Booker/JJ young player, and a 1st, we absolutely have to do it. Kyrie is much, much better than Bledsoe. Some stats from 2016-17:

25.2 ppg
5.8 apg
35 minutes/game
.473 FG%
.401 3PT%
25 years old

http://www.espn.com/nba/player/stats/_/ ... rie-irving

By contrast, here are Bledsoe's numbers.

21.1 ppg
6.3 apg
33 minutes/game
.434 FG%
.335 3PT%
27 years old

http://www.espn.com/nba/player/stats/_/ ... ic-bledsoe

Kyrie is one of the best scorers in the league. Not a good defender, but I think Bledsoe's defense is much overrated these days.

There has never been a better time to trade Bledsoe. His contract looks like a bargain under the new CBA. He's still relatively young and arguably in his prime right now. His recent health has been good. His stats from last year are pretty solid. He's a solid locker room guy and a good team player.

Plus, trading him to Cleveland makes some sense for them. He and Lebron are friends, with LBJ going so far as to call him "baby Bron" in the past. They have the same agent, Rich Paul. And Lebron hasn't had a great relationship with Kyrie and might get along better with Bledsoe running the point.

Bledsoe's stats and prestige aren't as high as Kyrie's, so you throw in the young player (MARQUESE CHRISS FIRE SALE please please please) and a 1st round pick to make it fair. You don't get this deal done without giving them a pick, and Kyrie is good enough to be worth giving up a pick. It's a fair price.

A Kyrie/Booker backcourt isn't great defensively, but few backcourts in the league could match their scoring and shooting. Plus, we'd have JJ out there to help with wing/perimeter defense. I think overall it'd be a good fit for us, though I do wish Kyrie looked to pass more.

GET THIS DONE MCDO!

I don't see them trading him, but if they do, why wouldn't they call us first? Apparently he doesn't want to play with LeBron for WHATEVER reason. Lebron and Bled are really close, if they swung a deal for Bled as a centerpiece you have to think it increases their chances of keeping Lebron. Even i it doesn't, what estblished player are they getting at point guard better than Bledsoe? I'd say Bledsoe/Chandler and aprotected first gets this done while still making Cleveland the favorites in the East this year.

This could be an oppurtunity with the win now cavs to not only land a player of Kyrie's caliber, but also unload some of the vets. That being said, I don't see them trading him.

It's a unique situation because I don't think Cleveland would look for draft picks and young players. They'd look for established guys because they still think they can win now. I think Tyson Chandler would have real value to them. I'd throw in Chriss too, btw, but it's just because I'm not high on him. The Suns are.

One more year of patience. I don't want to give up a 1st this year, because Kyrie is not getting the Suns into the playoffs this year.

If the Suns could just stand pat, look to deal some of the other big money players on this team and somehow get another top pick this coming draft. I would love to find a way to get Bagley and Doncic this next year, and then go in on FAs and trades for stars.

That's prob the smartest strategy In2.

Cleveland:

In: Demarcus Cousins, Eric Bledsoe
Out: Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love

New Orleans:

In: Kevin Love, TJ Warren
Out: Demarcus Cousins, Ajinca

Phoenix:

In: Kyrie Irving, Ajinca
Out: Eric Bledsoe, TJ Warren

Who says no? Perhaps we have to throw in one of the Miami picks?

Cleveland wants a king's ransom for Kyrie. Best to just stay the fuck away. Even the proposed deals by media are laughable.

Broussard: Bledsoe + Booker for Kyrie
Simmons; 3 way with NY in which we give up Bledsoe AND a first for Ntilikina and Shumpert's shitty deal.
Gambo: Saying it will take Bledsoe, JJ, PLUS assets.
Go Suns!

I would trade anything other than Booker or Jackson.

I would also trade the lesser of Miami and our own pick this year.

Bled/Chriss or Warren/Chandler/2018 1st for Kyrie/Frye and change
