Okafor just doesn't offer enough positive qualities to offset his negative ones. He doesn't defend or stretch the floor and you can't have big men without at least one of those qualities in today's game unless they are special in the post. Okafor is decent, but teams clearly didn't think he was worth playing.
Okafor had added a 3-point shot last season.
Okafor hasn't really landed in a good situation. In Philly, there was that center logjam that only Ryan McDonough could love. Okafor also is a natural post player, and there aren't many coaches or organizations that value that.
I'm not sure why Brooklyn even traded for him. Atkinson seemed determined not to play him before he even got there.
I think he could excel as a second unit, instant offense guy.
Sounds a lot like Greg Monroe.

To me he's more of a center. I'd play him at the Okafive.
Best comment on the whole site.
I thought it was only Okay-for a dad joke.

Davis seems like he can be decent but Caulie Stein and Skal are there plus Giles n Bagley so don't quite get that one.
Wonder why they insist on getting another SG, missed on Lavine

I think Sacramento just ran out of Pizza Guys and needed to get an old one back in the fold.

McLemore finally started looking like a solid pro last year in Memphis. I'm surprised they are moving him.
Deyonta Davis was always an overrated prospect.

Do you think it's because he said the "N word" on that conference call?

I don't think I'd like this if I were a Toronto fan. They'll probably give up a ton of assets for a guy who could very likely leave next summer. On the other hand, they could probably get back to the ECF.

He doesn't want to play in Toronto but it sounds like Masai doesn't care. Risky to lose him but they also get out of DeRozan's contract. Best case, the Raps make it to the ECFs, maybe the Finals, in the east and Kawhi proves himself healthy and capable of leading a team.

Like it for both teams. Toronto has to try something and with LeBron gone, they could win the East. Sounds like Kawhi is gone next year, but that's what everyone thought about Paul George as well. Derozan is good and Pop will know how to use him. A Derozan/Aldridge duo is pretty formidable and while I don't think they will contend, SA should still be in that next tier of playoff teams fighting for the 3rd seed.
