Crowder starts over Cam?
I’d guess so, Monty will decide, But Crowder started every game in the playoffs for a finals team. Cam has started 8 games total.
KCP started for the NBA champions, but I didn't come into the offseason hoping the Suns would sign him to replace Mikael Bridges in the starting lineup.

I like Cam's shooting in the starting lineup, especially with how anemic Bridges's offense can be and with Ayton needing space to operate.

Dang...you all are lowering Ayton’s minutes from last season? I was hoping he would get 36 or so like Book.
Ayton can decide how long he is on the floor. If he wants to operate in snowflake mode, I have no problem in reducing his minutes, especially if Smith and Saric are playing well.

He played 32 last year. That’s what I gave him

I understand that, I’m not saying he deserves it because he started in the finals, but those kinds of things seem to matter. Maybe Crowder doesn’t care though.

To me this is DAs defining season. If CP and Book can’t get him serious about basketball and the Suns aren’t shining mid season, I wouldn’t be surprised if they shopped him at the deadline or end of the year

Carter is a funny dude. There was a humorous video of him showing off his bubble apartment during the eight game masterpiece.

I said it the other day: I'd be shocked if we move Ayton during the season. I think you have to give him three full seasons.

It's funny but true.

Good point. Put up or shut up time.

Yeah, wouldn’t be surprised if they push to move him if he kind of coasts up and down this year again. Expect consistency and confidence this year.

Agreed that you, at the minimum, have him play out the year. Let's just hope Monty and Paul get through to him.

I think it depends on how the season goes as a team

Especially given the construction of the roster now; we have Paul, Booker, and then a lot low-production role players. So we need Ayton to be a star. It would help if Scrimmage Bridges becomes a reality when games actually count, but I'm not sure if that is fair to expect that of Bridges.

the way he played in the bubble when the games didnt count. he was so much more aggressive and scoring, to go along with his usual above average defense. Exactly what we keep saying we expect him to turn into.

He was much more involved in the offense during the bubble scrimmages. Was attacking more off the dribble, and using up possessions. That pretty much disappeared once the games that counted started.

I think Cam surpasses Bridges as an offensive threat. Bridges will be steady, but Cam may take the leap as a slasher.

I think he’s already surpassed him. Cam scored more if you factor in playing time.
