I really, really don't buy the "this actually HELPS Trump" narrative. It's shameful and embarrassing for him, and it crystalizes that he's a criminal and a bad person who commits crimes. Many people don't want to say they voted for a convicted felon. There have been polls and surveys on that. I think it hurts him in the election, so if you want him to lose, this was a good day. And he did the crime and deserved to be found guilty, so if you want the justice system to hold people accountable for crimes, today was a good day.

I told you this was going to be the outcome before the jury was even selected. How is this a good day when it was inevitable?

Yes, and it's hard to stand up to peer pressure when you're the only one. Having 2 lawyers on the jury can be intimidating, which is why they are usually dismissed early on when the selecting process happens.

Trump was convicted because 12 jurors said he was guilty. This isn’t the real trial over him trying to steal the election. Trump has managed to get all the other trials postponed until after the election.

I don’t care who says they are going to vote for Trump because he’s a felon now. Trump is an evil menace to our society and him being convicted just reinforces my belief in our Democracy. Maga never had any faith in our Democracy and Trump like always is doing everything in his power to destroy faith in our Democracy.
