So 80% of times we play away the home team has had equal or more rest than Phoenix.

And at home it's not good either. 2/3 of games come after equal or less rest than the opposite team.

Clippers probably have the worst from a fatigue standpoint.

IT3 just had wrist surgery.

Phoenix Suns guard Isaiah Thomas today underwent a successful arthroscopy of his left wrist, the team has announced. He is expected to participate fully in the team's training camp. The procedure was performed by Dr. Michelle Carlson at the Hospital for Special Surgeries in New York.

You're a little late to the party, RW. Or as Carey would have said:

Well. I just keep checking in every once-in-a-while now to see if something has happened with Eric. The NBA is practically dead at this point. Everyone is on vacation. Suppose I should expect nothing until early October.

This is the one narrow window where the NBA is pretty quiet. And even now there is USA basketball and occasional FA news. It is truly a year round sport.

I saw today that Green was like 3 for 31 from 3 in the final 3 minutes of games. Marcus was 1 for 19 in the same time.

Eww.

Small sample size. I wouldn't fret it.

And remember, "the final 3 minutes of games" isn't always clutch time. Sometimes it's garbage time.

I also remember Green's game winner against the TWolves last year. It wasn't a 3 though.

Ennis sees crowded Suns backcourt as a good thing.

Well, at least he's saying the right things. He seems humble and hungry to learn.

Here's an idea that excites INF: Have the Morris Bros retire as Suns.

I like the MoBros, but not enough to go out of my way to keep them together.

I like Markieff (somewhat at least), but I'm not a Marcus fan. Completely replaceable player, IMO.

The fact that they want to stay together should give the Suns a negotiating edge with contracts. It is much harder for a team to trade for, or sign two brothers as free agents.

Is it Marcus's look that turns you off?

Dragic interview:

http://basketball.realgm.com/blog/23471 ... f-The-Suns
RealGM: I heard about the restrictions from the Suns for you to play five international friendly games under 25 minutes in each. What is your opinion about some of NBA GMs intentions to prohibit their players to play for their national teams?

Dragic: I understand them. They pay me a lot of money and they are scared. Last year I had many troubles with my ankles. I twisted my left ankle six times. They are a little bit nervous but at the end, it is always nice to play for the national team. Every organization has a different opinion. Me and the Suns, we made an agreement and that was great.

RealGM: Is it difficult to negotiate with an NBA team on the terms of playing for the national team?

Dragic: It is difficult because on one side you have an organization that is paying you and on the other side, you have your people. I always like to play for my people, the national team and it is tough. But I think if you sit down and you talk with them, you can make an agreement. That’s why I’m really happy and grateful for the Phoenix Suns. They allowed me to play and I think I can gain more experience here. Also I can get in better shape for the next year.

We are so lucky to have this guy. Especially after we discarded him the first time.
