ChatGPT’s analysis:
Deandre Ayton is one of the most exciting young players in the NBA today. Standing at 7'0" and weighing 250 pounds, Ayton's size and athleticism make him a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the court.

Offensively, Ayton is incredibly versatile. He has a smooth shooting stroke from mid-range and has shown flashes of being able to hit from three-point range as well. However, his bread and butter is his ability to dominate in the paint. Ayton is a skilled post player with great footwork and a soft touch around the rim. He has a variety of moves he can go to in the post, including a baby hook, drop step, and turnaround jumper. His size and strength allow him to finish through contact and he's a great rebounder, averaging 10.5 rebounds per game in his young career.

Defensively, Ayton has the tools to be one of the best in the league. He has great lateral quickness for a player his size and can move his feet well on the perimeter. In the paint, he's a strong shot-blocker and alters numerous shots each game. Ayton has the potential to be a defensive anchor for the Phoenix Suns for many years to come.

One area where Ayton could improve is his passing. While he's not a bad passer by any means, he doesn't currently have great court vision and isn't a natural playmaker. However, as he continues to develop and gain experience, this is an area that he could improve in.

Overall, Deandre Ayton is a dynamic young player with an incredibly high ceiling. If he continues to work hard and develop his skills, there's no doubt that he'll become one of the league's premier big men for years to come.
I think “finish through contact” is my favorite part.
Very accurate. Two and-1's tonight.
How many this season?

Quite a few that I recall. But if he doesn't get contact on most of his shots, that doesn't take away from the fact that: "His size and strength allow him to finish through contact."

Glad to see Ayton step up and accept responsibility.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I doubt Monty would do that, but he could bench Ayton and make him the focal point of the offense when Jokic rests.

Jeremy, Knowing that Ishbia is a smart business man who loves hoops, do you still think Ayton is here next year after what you've seen during this playoff run?

I honestly don’t know Ayton’s trade value at this point.

The Mavs might be our only possible deal at this point.

THJ, Bertrans, McGee for Ayton is probably about as fair as deal you can ask for, Mavs do it because you help them get off their bad contracts and THJ fucking hates Luka so they gotta get him off the team. Mavs new big 3 is Luka, Kyrie and Ayton. Cool, whatever.

Hornets would be an interesting team as well.

Ayton for Hayward and Mark Jones straight up.

Not really sure you can get more that that at this point.

I'd watch Boston if they finish their flame out. I think they'll be in for a bit of a restructuring.

I need Josh Green or their draft pick to do that with Dallas. Ayton will be good there for them.

I DGAF who it is. Addition by subtraction. Get softy off this team.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

At this point, Ayton is an NPC. Prove me wrong about that. No one on the team, including Payne or Shamet, frustrate me more or get my blood pressure up more than Ayton. There has to be a better option(s) out there. Heck, I would rather have Mason Plumlee than this guy rn. He doesn't even seem to care about it either.

Oh man, Mason Plumlee would be far better than Ayton at this point!

There are lots of good trades out there. I don't know why you guys keep bringing up taking on Dallas' trash. Those trades are freaking brutal. Bertans and McGee might be 2 of the 10 worst contracts in the NBA. THJ is a mediocre player on an inflated salary. Awful and Gross.

Hayward and Mark Williams, or Rozier and Williams is a much better deal. Atlanta, Orlando, New Orleans, New York, Washington and Chicago could also put together compelling packages.

I think it’s because Dallas is the only team that’s been mentioned as interested

Of course they're interested. They've had the worst center rotation in the league for a few years now. It doesn't mean we have to take their slop.

Well good thing none of us can actually make offers. FWIW I’ve always said I’d need Green and/or whoever they take with their pick.

My idea was THJ, Kleber, and Green

Green must be included in anything with Dallas, period. He's got exactly what they need on the perimeter and he's dirt cheap. I'd take Kleber and THJ too, gimme all the shooting.
