Of course they’re not expected to win it all this year. Who said that?
The article that calls them contenders. Sure, they are 'contenders' in the sense that every NBA team is a contender. But they are not even in the top half of teams favored.

What is 'scrimmage Bridges?'
the way he played in the bubble when the games didnt count. he was so much more aggressive and scoring, to go along with his usual above average defense. Exactly what we keep saying we expect him to turn into.
When the games didn't count? You mean, the bubble where we had to win every single game and did? Yeah, that was pretty low pressure full of games that didn't count. Just because Portland pulled off the win at the last second of their game and we didn't ultimately make the playoffs doesn't mean it was meaningless, non pressure filled basketball that didn't count.
Uh, no. The scrimmage games. The ones that didn't count towards your record and were basically pre-season #2.
Uh...so you’re saying based on heresay? There were no televised scrimmages that I know of. Or were there? I honestly don’t remember.
I'd be willing to be you started the game-day threads. :P

I was talking about the 8 game bubble. I thought Bridges played great. But now I'm thinking I'm crossing my memory up with Cam's fantastic performance. Turned 37 today and my memory is starting to feel like 67.

That’s always a good bet if there’s a Suns game and there is a way to view it. :)

Sorry, it’s been a crazy year. It feels like 3 years in one in about 2 months time.

I honestly didn’t recall that Bridges was that much better in the 3 exhibition games before the bubble games but I do remember that he was solid in the bubble games.

The Toronto game was the big one. Had 26 pts on 10/12 shooting, 4/5 from 3. Added 5 assists as well and just overall being aggressive on offense.

The first few bubble games were so much fun. I hope we get to see more of that type of play. The last 3-4 games were major letdowns, since all the "contenders" sat their guys afraid of being embarrassed by the bubble crashers.

I had honestly forgotten about the scrimmage before the bubble. I just thought you were being snarky too.

If there's one thing I've learned about Indy in 17 years, is that he is never snarky.

Re: “contenders”: sometimes people use that term to refer to championship contenders and sometimes people use it to refer to “playoff contenders”...so it’s kind of murky.

that is all very fair. I turned 45 a few weeks ago. Last week someone asked me how old I was and I said 46 because, well, October does feel like last year already.

I honestly struggle many times remembering. Am I 36? 37? It's so weird how it all becomes a number at some point if it isn't a milestone of some sort.

Happy Birthday, Indy and AIG! Been there, done that, AIG. Occasionally I have to calculate it based on my birth year. Luckily, I don't forget that...yet. :P
