It's from January.

So, Dragic on his way to Minny? http://www.sportsrageous.com/nba/nba-ru ... ard/34719/

Or maybe OKC? http://www.sportsrageous.com/nba/nba-ru ... ook/34348/

Or maybe I should just stop posting crap from SportsRageous?

He looks bigger in the pictures I've seen. Fingers crossed that he comes back as quick and wiley as before.

Because Bob is a smart guy, has made millions from his sports knowledge, and knows a lot more than you do.

I sincerely doubt it. Not many people grow after their 23rd birthday.

Isn't he 22? And he was still 20 when drafted.

Coro said Warren looked taller to him and asked him if he'd grown. He said yes, confirmed that he is now 6'9".

That's nice.

Didn't he also say that he hasn't been formally measured yet, but many people have commented that he looks taller and he expects to come in at 6'9"?

Not a huge deal for TJ to get a little bigger. Doubt he grew an inch at 22 years old but whatever. I'm more interested to see if Bender or Chriss add another inch or two. Bender apparently's grown an inch and a half in the past year, Chriss has stayed the same.

If Bender has grown, good for him, but he seems pretty tall enough. I want to see him gain the strength and consistency in what he does already and add going to the basket in his game. I want him to punish smaller players in the post and take bigger stronger and slower players off the dribble. It feels like he can get off his outside shot almost any time he wants, so adding more tools to his game would be nice. Also getting more comfortable playing in the NBA against the speed and quickness will help.

That is what stands out the most to me. He seems to make mistakes in judgment of how fast a guy can go from here to there. He does that on offense when he is passing the ball, and he does that on defense when worrying about rotations and boxing out. He seems pretty quick when he is guarding one-on-one at the top of the key, so I am hoping it is something that can be worked upon, instead of just what he will be.

Patience, guys. No way an 18 year old is already what he's going to be. He seems like a determined kid that wants to get better. Give him time. Lots of it.

He did shoot well in the last game, at least. That shot will be nearly impossible to block. His on-ball defense has also been very good, though SL refs () have been calling everything on him near the basket. The post game, his drive game, his pull-up game, his passing, and team defense aren't there yet. I suspect his rebounding numbers will depend a lot on where he's positioned defensively - and I imagine we'll probably always be better off with him challenging shots on the perimeter than we are with him battling down low.

I think most SF will already out-weigh him.

I didn't mean he can't become a better basketball player by saying he is what he is. I meant that you don't get faster as you get older. You might get stronger, and you will certainly learn a lot. What I was saying was, if his speed is the problem with his defense, well, he better get a lot smarter.

How did we go from talking about Warren growing to Bender, anyway?
Go Suns!
