Overall, I think that is correct, but there are levels and places where it's less likely true. I think you can take each one individually and make a decision though. I mean, you've already made a decision on Cannon, no? Don't let yourself be entrenched in a position where your own words are used against you in the future on these things.

To be clear, I blame DA Fani Willis for this delay and for the GA case not happening before the 2024 election. She very stupidly hired her lover to work the case with her, then comped him for travel and vacation expenses in a questionable way. It led to concerns and challenges and delays. All she had to do was NOT appoint her unqualified fuck buddy to the most important case of her lifetime. Really stupid unforced error by her.

They might have found something else. But that doesn't excuse the wrongdoing committed by Willis. She should not have done what she did. Just because the opponent would probably contest the case in any way they could doesn't give her a free pass to be irresponsible, unethical, and sloppy. The case is too important. Honestly it probably would have been much more damning than the Stormy / NY case that just concluded, and that one was devastating. It probably would have put Trump beyond the pale in terms of being electable. But she blew it.

She was sloppy. The GOP managed to put the prosecutor on trial instead of Trump. That doesn’t make Trump any more or less innocent. Now Trump get’s the trial delayed maybe long enough to become President.

There were thi gs about the case prior to the verdict that were wrong. The result was known before it started. Stop with the gaslighting.
