I doubt Washington fans are very optimistic this year. San Antonio, Charlotte, Detroit, Orlando and Houston probably don't have delutions about the chances either.

'bazz said "excited", and I think he's right.
I agree with you about Washington, but they still have a handful of competent players and have laid the path rebuild the roster. Most of their fans probably want to lose 50 games this season.
All the other teams have plenty of reason to be excited this season. SAS - Wemby, Charlotte - Ball, Detroit - a real coach and tons of talent to mold, Orlando - great young roster with the ROY, Houston - a real coach and actual NBA quality identity. That's not to say all those teams will be a threat to make the playoffs, but I'd be excited to follow any of those teams (now, in July).

I think he was referring to the article I posted. All the quotes are teams being very optimistic about their team/players

Fair enough. I didn't read it.

Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
Yeah - but what you posted above is the gist. The article was just about the West and I think every team in the conference either has a loaded roster ready to compete right now or enough young talent to get excited about the future.

Nothing has happened to indicate that's changed. Nembhard has looked pretty good for them, so hopefully he squeezes TJ's minutes.
I don't know how the Suns can trade for him without him being part of a much larger deal.

Great hypothetical example, but I suppose the question is; who could the Suns get with a TPE that would interest the Pacers?

Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
Kira Lewis maybe? Though he might not make enough to attach Ish to and get TJ back, I’ll have to check. You’d also have to wait 60 days to make the next trade.
Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
By my calculations we’d need to acquire someone making at least 5.98 million to have enough to trade for TJ. Kira makes 5.7
Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
Yeah I was thinking of the two trades possibility when reading the TJ rumor, but the 60-day rule makes it difficult.

Even better on you or me. My skinny pale arms gangling out of a too large jersey. My ET physique. Flat chest, small gut. Definitely no undershirt.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

If everyone is on it, the enforcement measures must really suck. And they still caught D.

I've noticed KD looking under the influence on the bench with us when he was injured. Also noticed another guy playing like it.
