This interview is full of starting stuff. But this part might be the worst. He's just openly campaigning on dismantling the government and our system of laws now, in favor of one that blatantly favors him and his goons.

The funny thing is that this is what Joe did when he came into office. He instituted a loyalty test and got rid of 'Maga Extremists' according to him. He then also mandatoried the experimental vax, even if they already had natural immunity or attempted to used religious exemption. After that, he prioritized recruiting the exact opposite of masculine men. All these things are why recruiting is down over 25%, the last 3 years, but you didn't say "Booo!" about any of this. So, when Joe set precedent for this, you can't cry about it now. Dem da rulez.

What are your sources to indicate that any of the above wild accusations actually happened? What "loyalty test"? What "Maga Extremists" did Biden get rid of?

It was reported and posted years ago. Stop acting like it didn't happen.

Why should the military allow people to skip the COVID vaccine? If they're that stupid, kick them out. The health and safety of all soldiers is paramount. Don't allow infected morons to ruin everything. Taking lots of vaccines has been mandatory for decades in the military.

I can't believe it's mid-2024 and we're STILL talking about the COVID vaccine as if it were evil, dangerous, or unknown. Shaking my head.

No soldier goes anywhere out of the country EVER without getting a crap load of shots. There is no protesting or whining about it. You are going to XXXXX?. Then you ARE getting these shots. Don’t like that? Then you picked the wrong job to be In.

Another endorsement. Well, Biden would say to him, "Well, you ain't black!"

Most polls have Trump getting somewhere around 15-19% of the Black vote. That is a noticeable increase from 2016, but, it's still a terrible overall percentage. By far, most Black voters strongly dislike Donald Trump. 15-19% disagree and like him. If I were getting 15-19% of a population's vote, I would not consider that a huge victory. Black women in particular are very unlikely to vote for Trump, fwiw; they are the most reliable part of the Dem coalition by percentage.

Mori will get a laugh out of this, as it seems HIGHLY UNLIKELY, and he will give an eyeroll to what Elon says.

"The SF Bay Area is shifting towards Trump." Um, okay, based on what? One blowhard saying so? It's one of the bluest places in the USA. Dream on, Elon. Just because you can get a few rich GOP friends together for a donation dinner doesn't mean the place is going red.

Yes, I agree on this.

One thing is, yes, there certainly are many Republicans and Trump supporters in the SF Bay Area. Probably hundreds of thousands of them; it's a big city / metro area. But not close to a majority.

Elon is probably skewed a bit because probably the people who tend to talk to *him* are more conservative, so he probably feels like, "Man, I meet so many Republicans / Trump supporters, I think something's starting to change down here!" But those people are going out of their way to seek him out, while more liberal folks are largely coming to dislike Musk and avoid contact with him. I would probably think the Bay was reddening too if I were him and had the social encounters he likely has.

Elon could be good for the country. Republicans hate EV cars and solar power. They should hate him. He sided with Trump and said crap about Dems. Now he’s super popular with the GOP.

I am mostly curious if this love for him translates into Republicans accepting EV and Solar.

I think your logic is faulty, and you have some bad misconceptions. Republicans don't hate EV cars and solar power. Many have them, and many love them. This broad brush isn't true. Some may hate them, but most do not. What they hate, is being forced to have them through laws passed, when they aren't necessarily better in all situations at the moment. They hate being gaslit by politicians ignoring EVs & solar panels own degradation of the environment. It's not the panacea that is portayed.

Are there laws that force people to have electric cars and solar panels?

They have passed laws that give incentives to buy EV’s and solar but, they haven’t forced anyone to buy anything. Trump owns the GOP and he has made it crystal clear he hates EV’s and will do everything in his power to end them.

Trump has warned that Biden's policies encouraging the transition to electric vehicles would result in an economic “bloodbath” in the U.S. economy that would “kill” the auto industry.

Donald J. Trump is crystal clear about his disdain for electric vehicles. The former president has falsely claimed electric cars don't work, promised to shred President Biden's policies that encourage E.V.
