I like Randle but he's tough to build around and have on the floor with other scorers. Not sure there are enough shots for him, KD and Book. And he can check out easily if he's not a focal point. We're really just exchanging one issue for another, tho I get we'd be out from under Beal's contract.
Randle sucks.

Ya LaVine has no trade value still. He’s on a huge contract and Chicago can’t get a 1st for him. The only way they get a 1st for him is by taking an equal or worse contract. Enter Beal. I think people look at it and say, LaVine is good, why would they do this…well Chicago doesn’t want to be good. LaVine being better than Beal is actually a negative for them. Easier to be bad with Beal than LaVine, plus you get a pick or 2. Makes perfect sense to me. They are probably just holding out for more, but they’ll eventually do it.

Miami is the team that I worry about. I think Pat Riley is petty and would love to just ship Butler to Memphis. He absolutely doesn’t want Butler to get his way…our only hope is Butler scared Memphis enough to not make an offer. The Heat might not like it in the end, but they will ultimately take the best offer on the table for Jimmy.

Randle isn't having a great season, but I would take him over Beal. The salaries don't work, but something like Beal for Randle + Conley + ballast might work. I doubt either side would go for it.

Minny can’t take Beal, they are a 2nd apron team. It would have to be part of a multi team trade with a team or 2 somewhere taking on extra salary.

My scenario was just cutting Miami out of the 5 team deal and us taking what Miami would be getting(Randle in this instance)

I think the main teams involved are Us, Bucks, Bulls, Raps and Heat. I think the Raps and Heat are holding things up. I Raps wants better assets for taking Middleton(washed) and Connaughton and Heat want more in general cuz they crybabies.

If Miami wants to be stupid then fuck em, I think there’s deals to be made still. Raps want assets, bulls wants assets to take Beal and give away Levine to the bucks. What about this?

Who says no?

Bulls: Beal, ‘26 1st from us, ‘31 first from Bucks

Bucks: Levine

Raptors: Middleton, Connaughton, ‘28 1st from us, 2025 2nd from us

Suns: Bobby Portis, Kelly Olynyk, Bruce Brown

Waive and stretch Nurk.

Tyus-Book-Dunn-KD- Big Dick Nick

Allen-Brown-Royce-Portis-Kelly

My ideal lineup would be Book-Dunn-KD-Portis-Richards.

Play big, good shooting. Dunn will be wide open often, so his 3s and drives at the basket will be way easier.

No Randle, I'd rather get nothing at all in return
Yeah, he makes lots of bone-headed plays. He'd quickly get on your poop list. And I'd be right there with you.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I personally promise not to ever make any further references if you guys ban the practice of derailing threads into a series of irrelevant puns
