Re: Jimmy Butler trade rumors

At this rate, Miami will keep Butler, trigger him into doing something suspendible, rinse/repeat, and not have to pay him the rest of the season.
A place for fans of the Phoenix Suns

Player unions will never allow the heat to not pay a player. Maybe if there was some criminal element but that’s not the case. Gonna be interesting to see what the players union will do if the Heat can keep getting away with not paying a player if this suspension stuff continues.

Your team says they want to bench you, partly because YOU WANT A TRADE, and they don't want you to get injured while they are working on that trade. And partly because you are refusing to participate properly in practices and games and such. So you walk out?
I don't know why we want a guy who would act like that on this team. Beal, for all his imperfections, he's handling this situation like a pro and with class and maturity.
Fans heckling players is part of the game, and it’s not going to stop because you brought Brad’s kid. The heckler probably didn’t know, and even if he did: this is why he bought his ticket. You can’t expect him to throw that money away to accommodate you. If it’s not a good environment for your kid, don’t bring your kid into it. It’s not going to change because you do.specialsauce wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 3:59 pmYall some dorks!Mori Chu wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 3:46 pmGotta say, Jimmy Butler isn't impressing me with how he is handling the situation. The moral compass police are out here in full force today and on X with Beal's wife.
Uhh, how about you spend some of your $50M and get your kids a private suite. Your own fault for taking your 6 year old to a sporting event where there are a bunch of intoxicated people and your husband isn't performing up to expectations of a passionate fan base.
Imagine someone trying to say this in Philly.

It’s kinda nice to agree with you for a change. We should try it more often.specialsauce wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 4:11 pmExactly.Cap wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 4:07 pmFans heckling players is part of the game, and it’s not going to stop because you brought Brad’s kid. If you don't want your son to hear him called a bum ass bitch you have two choices
Don't play like a bum ass bitch
Put your kids in a suite or watch from home
I don't yell at players at games but it is part of the sport
See the avatar above yours. Talk about crazy!Uncle_Gene wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 4:12 pmOkay, who still wants Jimmy Butler at this point ?
I never did, and if anybody still wants him now, you're crazy.
I have to hurry and make a HIMMY reference to ruin it lolCap wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 4:14 pmIt’s kinda nice to agree with you for a change. The people that don't want Jimmy because of his antics are the ones that don't go 46 in a 45. Never sampled the candy in the self serve grocery store buckets as a kid. Return their grocery carts every time no matter what lol.Wally_West wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 4:54 pmI want Jimmy. Anyone against a Jimmy trade is just being silly. Unless it’s because you don’t want to give 3 1st then yeah you right, I don’t want to trade 3 1st either. I might be able to get talked into that if we get like six 2nd round picks back but I think that’s unlikely. Max is two 1st.
Dunn absolutely won’t get traded so no reason to entertain that idea.
