If healthy, I think Giles is the one guy who could go #1 over Fultz. As much as Fultz is the complete package at guard, Giles is at the 4. And in the modern NBA, I think he's plenty big enough to play at the 5. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

He's got no weakness as a scorer. Can get to the rim, the line, and shoot from deep. Probably going to be a 25 a game scorer in the NBA, I'm just not sure what else he'll do. Under most circumstances that would be enough to warrant a top 3 pick. I just think this draft has too much talent that fits our needs better.

He's got much better off the dribble skills than Gerald green. Monk reminds me a little of Kyrie. Not quite the ball handler, but the ability to score anywhere. Monk is probably the better athlete of the two.

monk has better shooting numbers than devin booker's freshman season across the board.

Idk, 9 or 10 might be a stretch. Dennis Smith is fantastic, but I actually agree with you. I can't put my finger on it, but I'm not that excited about him for some reason, and if the others weren't in this draft he might have been the best pg prospect since Kyrie and a better and more willing passer.

I agree. He's got that Steve Francis stink on him. What I really want is a guy who will play the right way and play with energy and passion. Maybe that is DSJ. IDK. You take the best player, even if it doesn't perfectly fit with what you're doing.

I'm a bit more interested in the bigger PGs, because I think Ulis is at the very least a rotation player, and I'd like a guy who could complete a Booker-Ulis-____ rotation, which requires someone who can guard both 1s and 2s. The two players who best fit that profile are Fultz and Ntiklinka. If we were at the 2/3 spot in the draft and Philly at the 6 and 8, say, I would be shocked if we tried to make some sort of swap.

Also, I really like Jayson Tatum. I have him over Josh Jackson at this point. Eye of the beholder on that one.

This guy compares Ball to Jason Kidd, and makes some very good points. One of the things he points out is that Ball will lead teammates to the right spot with a pass. In other words, he sees where his teammates should be and passes the ball there to make them go get it in the right spot. I hadn't noticed that before, and you can really see Lonzo doing it in the highlights. Cool stuff.

I'm worried about Lonzo Ball's shooting form. It's strangely similar to Kevin Martin's form, and he managed to score pretty well, but he wasn't a PG who needs to shoot off the dribble more. I think it's going to be a lot harder for Ball to score at the next level.

With time and the right coach, a shot can be rebuilt. Jeff Hornacek had a broken shot when he came into the league.

Smith to me is pre-injury Jay Williams, I have him 2nd to Fultz at PG just because of his size.

What if he's just Eric Bledsoe? Admittedly I haven't watched much of smith, but that's who he reminds me of. Right now I'd take Fultz, ball, ntilikina, and fox over him at pg.

it wasnt that broken coming out of college. it was actually decent if you know where to look

Those stats don't tell us too much. He was an OK free throw shooter, but we have no idea where his field goals were coming from. They could have been all layups.

FT shooting is a better indicator of good outside shooting than 3pt%.

and FG% only tells you about the players' shot selection (or his ability to make contested shots). just because shaq is shooting 60% from the field doesnt mean he can be a stretch 5. and just because damian lillard shot 42% FG overall last season doesnt mean you can leave him open from the perimeter.
