The most frustrating thing about all of this is that the Suns don't seem to have learned any lessons from previous FA signings. Did they not see what signing Chandler to a starting spot in front of Len did to him after he was here for 2 years and starting the most of that second season? Are we going to do that again with Chriss? I guarantee you Millsap isn't coming here to be anyone's backup. What did they think would happen signing IT a clear starter in this league and putting him behind Dragic and Bledsoe would do? I'd rather not go down this dumb rabbit hole a third time if it's o.k. with you lot.

Couldn't agree more.
I keep thinking maybe its just to appease Sarver (who i never fully trust about wanting to rebuild) or keep a good relationship with Milsap's agent for the future. Like say we have a meeting so it gives his agent more leverage with other teams competing for his services.
My guess is the wolves throw a lot at him and they seem to be more in win now mode.
I cant see him wanting to take a back seat here.
I keep hoping news breaks of another team signing him

How much space do the wolves have after signing Teague? I think they've only got 15-16 million left. I guess they could do a sign and trade

Tarik Black was released by the Lakers. I'd give him a long look as a Len/Sauce replacement.

I actually hope we can get Len at a reasonable rate. Then move Chandler. Start Len and give the backup center minutes to Bender or Chriss. The sf and pf minutes aren't enough for TJ, JJ, Bender and Chriss. Then eventually transition Len to the backup center as Bender becomes better.

Could end up with 30 minutes each for TJ, JJ, Bender and Chriss. With 24 for Len.

And I'd move Bledsoe too if it meant picking up a pass-first point guard and some draft picks.

We have a pass 1st PG, he's just on the small side. Plus, I'm not sure there any of those available. Send Bledsoe to Philly for McConnell, Luwawu and a 1st.
