We kept the wrong PG.

Not if he was leaving as a FA anyway.

We traded him at just the right time. As much as I like him, it wouldn't have made sense to try to build around him. Now, if we can follow that example and trade Bled at the height of his value...

Yeah, he was #1 to Chicago. Bagley went to the Hawks.

Where would we play Doncic? I think he could play PG but most people say no.

He absolutely can handle PG duties on offense. If you have somebody else to check on guards, he can slid to SF on defense. Having MF Jackson makes these things easier. In theory his defensive versatility, motor and athleticism could allow him to guard from PGs to non-banger PFs, Marion style.

Did you guys see this?

If you're going to suck, this is a good year to do it.

That means we'll surprise and have a decent season. Just enough to get us out of the difference makers.

Ugh, I'm seriously so afraid that you are right. I hoped that the Suns were going to tank in LeBron, Wade, Melo, Bosh year too, but...

If we had, we'd have drafted Milicic.

Indeed, it would be very Suns-like (in this decade at least) to win more than expected when the draft is loaded with perfectly fitting talent up top. Been saying for some time now that we need one more year of losing. Make sure it happens by moving Bledsoe and Chandler and don't look back.

I'm on that train too. Move Bledsoe and Chandler to contenders.

Dudley too. We have so many young forwards who need minutes.

I'm fine with keeping Chandler and Dudley. It helps the learning process to have a vet who knows where everyone needs to be on the court. I really think Chandler is a big part of why Booker developed such a good lob as a rookie.

Bledsoe has to go, though. The offense is too stagnant with him n the court, and he's too young to accept playing just a few minutes and watching Ulis play.

Not to beat the subject to death, but here's Steve Kerr talking about why the Warriors run the least pick and roll in the NBA. You can get an open shot for your star, sure. But the rest of the team is less involved and plays worse.

Starting about the 5:20 mark:
