Coming from you, that's hilarious.
What does your comment accomplish? Did you have anything to do with this exchange? This is between Nathan and I.
Just an observation I'm making on a public forum guy.

The thing is, he had just stolen it from Porzingis and HAD to know he was right behind him. What was he thinking?

It happens some times on a long road trip. Especially after an emotional victory and when your second best offensive weapon goes down early.

So cool to meet Ryan McDonough tonight. I couldn't believe it when he was sitting directly in front of my son and I! At halftime, I asked him what the status of Warren was. The guy sitting with him left shortly after the injury so I figured he was looking into it. I then introduced myself and let him know I was a long time Suns fan. He was as nice as could be and he introduced himself to my son when he got back from the concession stand.

When the game was over, he shook my hand and then my son's hand and said, "They'll get better as the season progresses."

Ugh. An oddly bad game. At least Booker looked decent. I also liked Benders D.

The rest of the team...pretty gross.

The box score won't won't illustrate how bad Len and Chandler sucked. They were the biggest bunch of sucks that ever sucked. Chandler had the one monster put back but the rest came on wide open bunnies. Len is a decent shooter but his multiple FT airballs tells you he isn't all that mentally strong.

Poor TJ. Dudes going to be the first basketball player to have to retire due to too many concussions.

I felt that the effort to make a comeback was there but they just played bad basketball tonight.

That is pretty cool. I'm not the type of person to approach celebrities or athletes in public, but I would've needed a lot of will power to not annoy the shit out of him all game if I was in your position. Imagine the intel you could've gathered for our insignificant message board!

Of course my first question would be, "Do you ever go to phx-suns.net?"

Yeah, I don't usually bug public figures but I couldn't help myself when he was sitting all alone at halftime and I had a chance to get some inside info on Warren's status. But I didn't bug him the rest of the game out of respect. It was cool that he shook our hands again before he left.

The New Yorker next to me did tell him they'd take Bledsoe off his hands. The fan balked though when McDonough said they'd do it for Porzingus. :D The New Yorker said we could have anybody else and I said we'll take Frank which made him backpedal again.

Then after the game he offered to trade you your son for a new baby and a first round pick.

Very cool that you got to meet McDonough. It would have been cool for him to show up to a Zipps outing.

Wow, you met Ryan McD. Should've asked him about Bledsoe.

This is exactly the conversation I would've tried to had with him. I'd just want to find out if he'd be polite or pick up the humor and run with it.

See, he was nice enough to introduce himself to my son and give me the status of Warren. I wasn't going to push it. Glad it was me there and not you guys!

I feel like if was a GM I'd be trawling boards like this one to supplement my knowledge, at least around trade targets; pretty sure McD could have avoided knight if he'd bothered to check RealGM (but then what do I really know what goes on in assessing the value of a player, and if it's your full time job you'd like to think a GM would be pretty informed in general...still, inside stuff surely can't hurt).

LOLOL about McD.

If ShelC had been sitting there, he would have had a white-board out and started explaining some concepts. It would have been a Teaching Moment. "T-E-A-M: here's how to get players that fit together."
