That's not even a dramatization. That's real footage of us.

So, do we learn a lesson from the stupid Ariza signing? That you shouldn't pay a middling aging vet $15m / year even for one season to play a position where you already have 3 other guys who need minutes?

I think so. I thought McDonough knew what he was doing, but no! That kind of deal can work out like Redick on Philly last year but Ariza definitely wasn't the right guy. Shroder or Randle would have been cool. Heck, even resigning Payton might have worked out post hair hat.

I always wanted us to go after Randle, and didn't understand why we weren't when we obviously needed a PF.

"We're looking to add a defensive power forward that can stretch the floor" - so he goes and signs Ariza and trades for Anderson.

Bickley’s Take on Jones, LeBron and KD:

For what it’s worth. It’s nice to dream, but could that really happen?

Why does doing a favor for LeBron get KD to us?

Kind of a stupid thing to say because it's applicable to just about every team, but KD would be a perfect fit here.

Ouch!

30. Phoenix Suns (29)

Last in offense and 28th on defense, Phoenix is settling in a notch below the rest of the lottery-bound crowd. This, even after a 20-point win over the Spurs on Wednesday pumped up the Suns' efficiency numbers on both ends.

Of the 250 players to log at least 200 minutes this season, Josh Jackson's box plus-minus ranks last. The No. 4 overall pick last year is shooting 41.2 percent from the field and 29 percent from deep while piling up 35 turnovers against just 23 assists.

Please withdraw all Jackson-related optimism and deposit it in the bank of Mikal Bridges.

That is what I was trying to figure out.

Josh Jackson thinks he's really really good. I'm glad someone does.

Evidence that Booker is still slowed from the hamstring injury:

Since hamstring injuries always linger, you sit him out until it's healed. It's not like we're winning anyway. I don't get why they rushed him back so soon.

Because everybody was getting really sick of losing by 20 points a night?
