But what about his league leading assists? And how did I ever agree that it's going to take until 2025 for him to "get going" in your words?
I on't know what your deal is with that, but it's one sided.
One sided? How do you mean?
That comment I made seems to mean a lot more to you than to me.
Would you like to retract it?
Easy to downplay your predictions when they look far from coming true down the road...
It’s just funny reading it. Just like any prediction about Bender being the next KP is funny. Reading about the Kaminsky hype is funny now too (I definitely bought it)

Proud to say I never bought the Kaminsky hype... but I bought the Justise Winslow hype and he hasn’t been any better.

Frank was just so damn good against UofA that year....

Danny Ainge offered MJ 4(!) first rounders so he could draft Winslow that year and Jordan turned it down so he could draft Kaminsky.

James Jones doesnt have to wait till dec 15 to make his first move to acquire a point guard. trade a 2nd rounder for milos. Then on Dec 15, trade ariza for the second pg.

I'm not sure there's an NBA player there. Maybe he can carve out a niche as a defender, but right now he's DJ Strawberry.
I do think he is an NBA player and could benefit from a change of scenery. I don't necessarily disagree with the view that we have enough projects at the point guard position, but I would still be interested in Ntilikina if the price were right.

Trade a 2nd rounder for Milos? I’ve never seen that idea before, SDC. Tell me more.

Why would we want a guy that plans to go back to Europe?

Is there an equivalent to my "Hunky Rubio" pic for Milos that we can start posting?

Dinwiddie apparently wants to be extended on December 8th for 4 years at $48 million. This would put Brooklyn over the cap. I wonder what deal could work for them to turn him over to us. Seems a fair price for him now. As a free agent he would expect to sign for more.

I was a big ntilikina fan before the draft, but it sounds like he’s been pretty disappointing in the nba. I wasn’t sure how he’d develop as a pg, but I thought he’d at least be a solid 3D wing. I also don’t think we need another project at pg. If we decided we like him better than Melton, I could get behind a Melton for ntilikina swap. They would seem to have a similar role in my head.

I like Okobo, I think he’ll be pretty good. Even if okobo becomes a good player, we need another ball handler. I’d like someone who could play with either okobo or booker. Dinwiddie makes some sense here.

I'm not interested in Ntilikina. Much prefer somebody with a bit more of a pedigree such as McConnell or Dimwiddie.

Ya, kinda where I am at. We have two project pg’s. Not sure what a 3rd project does for us.

McD and the previous regime was probably enticed by Frank during the draft, as other teams/execs were. Not sure that's the case now, and Frank isn't really a prototype NBA PG. Phil Jackson took him as a larger triangle PG to mold like Brian Shaw and Ron Harper. He's got a great phyiscal profile, plays solid D (overrated by NYK fans) but has no feel or confidence on offense. Goes east-west often, avoids contact, plays scared at times. And if he can't shoot or drive, then playing him off the ball is very hard. Maybe he's a Thabo, Bruce Bowen, Tony Allen type but not sure he's got that kind of toughness.
