"Rubio definitely having a hangover game."

Took a hard elbow from Anus Kanter trying to get a rebound (wait, did I misspell Kanter's first name?)
No--I think thats right.

This would've been as ass whipping if Marcus Smart hadn't had a career night.
Or we had 1 reliable bench player
Jerome was -10 in 4 minutes. Carter was -22 in 17 minutes. Ouch.
Jerome was just out there because Monty needed a warm body to put on the court. At least he ran around a lot.

Despite the -22 I thought Carter was fine. His defense wasn't terrible and he wasn't asked to do much of anything with the ball in his hands. He hit a couple of nice threes early in the game.
Ya Carter was fine...bench unit just didn’t have anyone to create offense. Think Carter might have been the only bench player to score in the first half. Baynes later hit a 3 and I think Diallo got a dunk.

Smart wants that Celtics 3s record to the detriment of his team.
I don't know about that. I mean, he's made 11 of them...
I do. He jacked up 2 ill advised ones during winning time. Hit the last couple after the game was decided.

Ayton also has 2 such streaks (one last season). Duncan had 3, Shaq had 8! Embiid only had 1.

Book better make the all star team. I think he’s been the 9th best player in the west this year.

Doncic, Harden, Lebron, Kawhi, AD will start...I’d give Jokic, Lillard, and Gobert spots over Book, but that’s it. Clippers deserve 2 all stars and Paul George will make it, but he’s only played 26 games and his numbers aren’t better than Book. KAT has only played 24 games. Yes the thunder and Jazz are better than the suns, but Book is just better than Mitchell and CP3. Ingram has comparable numbers, but for once, the suns are better, so tie break goes to Book.

I think I’d go Booker, Ingram, Mitchell, PG for those last 4. Sorry KAT and CP3

I don’t think the game was decided until Book hit that 2nd free throw to put us up 4

The point is he took two bad shots in the name of the record when they needed a score. I stand by my statement.

I’m not sure they were bad. He hit 1 of them. Plus he already had the record at that point. Dude went 11/21 from 3. Him firing away was their best offense

Wasn't it just a few days ago that people were talking about how horrible our record is since our 7-4 start? Guess what, we are now 7-4 in our last 11 games.

People I’d drug test after the game: all 3 officials, Monty Williams, Mikal Bridges, Marcus Smart.

TIC Smart and Bridges but dead serious on the others.

If you ignore the 7-4 start and the 7-4 recent run, we’re 4-16. If you ignore the 4-16 run, we’re 14-8.

That foul on Rubio was the same thing Trae Young did to Ayton two games ago and they called it an offensive foul.

I think a blocking foul is the right call which just makes me angrier about the call in Atlanta.
And Trae barely even got hit...Ayton was jogging and Trae just fell
Remembered this exact play when it happened. Tells you how much of a double standard NBA refs have. These officials were terrible. They had like 4 separate huddled tonight. Nobody knew what the others were doing. Fucking embarrassing.

Blew our 13 point lead
Inexcusable lineup for that situation. I have no idea how he justifies that asinine decision. They should fine him that’s how bad it was

I kinda like this starting lineup.
I’m fond of it too. Wish Kelly would accept a 6th man role but I doubt it. I’d be for moving Dario to the bench but our second unit scoring would somehow get worse.

Glad we held on for the win. I thought they were going to give the game away, with some help from the refs. I was cheering for Bridges the whole game. That's the guy I hope he can strive to be, a deadly 3-and-D guy who you can't leave open and can lock down his man on defense.

For what it's worth, we are up to 9th in the West, 2 games back from 8th, on that win.
