I was gonna take Vernon Carey Jr for Dallas!
With the 31st pick, the Mavs take:
Grant Riller
The Mavs are in early win-now mode and can't afford a risky guy like Jaden McDaniels. They need shooting and shot creation from the gurad spot. Riller will be just fine playing off of Doncic with his ability to shoot and put the ball on the floor. I also considered Killian Tillie and Zeke Nnaji, but ultimately I think a small guard would help the Mav's rotation more.

Williams and Okoro jumping up obviously pushed other guys down, Knicks were a lock for Toppin if he fell and he did. Still surprised the Cavs passed on him. Stewart went a lot higher than most people thought, Maxey dropped, Knicks prob reached on Quickley, Bane and Terry dropped as well. Ring got it right with Nesmith tho.
